The advantage of the 1 seed is that Milwaukee would have to go through Philly. We *may* have a tougher series with Cleveland than Philly, but Milwaukee might not even get past Philly if they were to meet in the second round.

One thing we benefitted from last playoffs was that we were fresh and confident against Milwaukee (a sweep against a team many picked to beat us in the first round). And we saw as the playoffs went on, we got tired and let the Heat take us the distance when we should’ve beat them in 6 (I wouldn’t be surprised if we beat them in 5 had we played them before the Bucks), which we then had absolutely nothing left in the Finals (besides adrenaline games 1 and 3).

Sixers, but I think if they play well, they should beat either team. The Cavs bench isn't good enough for the playoffs. Mitchell however is more of a problem for the C's than Embid - as long as the C's have Rob or Al.

I don't really care, if the Cs are healthy.  If Rob or Al are not feeling well, I would prefer Philly.

This thread has jinx written all over it, no thanks!

Let's get past our first round opponent first. Whoever that may be.

Yeah, this is actually a good point.

While for us in particular it may be a slightly better matchup, it does provide Milwaukee a seemingly easier 2nd round matchup, as they r struggled against Philly (1-2) compared to Cleveland (2-2).

I actually think the Cavs are more likely to beat the Bucks.  They have a lot of speed and more overall size to throw at Giannis.  I don't think either will actually beat the Bucks, I would just favor the Cavs.  Of course, I'm not so sure the Cavs will even get by the Knicks so that may not matter either way.

That is why positioning just doesn't make a whole lot of sense.  A lot can happen.  Just try to win every game you can and it will work out in the end.

Looks like it'll be Philly anyways

Maybe I'll come across as cocky when I say this (and I hope it doesn't come back to bite me), but I'm very confident we can beat PHI in 5 games. Maybe PHI can push it to 6, but I think we win it comfortably still. Embiid can put up his monster stats, but Philly's bench is bad and Harden looks like he's not 100% (Achilles). He was terrible last night and has looked bad in a lot of games lately. I actually think the 2nd round could be easier than the first round if we face Miami.

As for a potential ECF, we better hope we beat MIL in 6 games. Highly doubt we can win a Game 7 at Fiserv Forum

Embiid is a nightmare as his bully ball tactics is difficult to stop...surely thw refs will give him his 35 plus points and 15 plus FT a game.

The trick thought is make them a one man show amd keep Harden and Maxey in check.

The Cavs are a more balance squad that has a twin tower look..very underrated 4th seed imo and is probably better off to face the Bucks as we seem to always play it close with them.

Bit im really more focused on what our team can do because as we have all seen, this team just jacks up 3s like there is no tomorrow..now im hoping we get hot 4 to 5x each series than not because we all know we are terrrible outplayed even by the likes of the Wizards if our 3s dont hit the bottom of the net....if we dont connect on >15 3s a game we are screwed.
