TPs for everyone
blasting the bucks makes us all feel better

Guess the loss to the Wizards was made up for against the beatdown on the Bucks  ;D

You have to wonder if we would have smashed the Bucks on Feb 14 too if we had a healthy roster.  We almost won with our starters missing that game.

Clearly, them fully healthy Bucks with Middleton are the clear cut favorites in the East  ;)

But we didn't have four of our starters in that Feb 14 meeting and that game went into OT at their turf  ;)

curious how a certain poster who loves to discount what the C's did last year and has repeatedly said the Bucks are better than the C's when the have Middleton (or in general for that matter) will spin this one.

If Middleton hadn't gotten hurt, clearly the Bucks would have made a comeback.

Keep tatum and jb away from Grayson. Can see a foot "accidently" being placed under them on a J.

You picked an awesome game to attend haha

Btw how is the arena? Concessions, etc.? I've heard great things about it.

It's real nice and clean. Parking is easy and you can get pretty close and not have to pay through the nose. We were a block away and it was $21.

Killed them on Christmas, almost beat them with our bench, and smashed them tonight. Playoffs are a different animal, but we match up with them very well. The trend is notnin Milwaukee's favor. If you're a bucks fan, you have to be feeling a bit uneasy.

Helps when we hit out 3's, but they still played aggressive even when up big. I hope they learned from this tonight.

I'm sorry, but this game was meaningless. If the Celtics would have beaten the Wizards on Tuesday night, I guarantee the game tonight would have played out differently. BTW, the players on this Bucks team have won a title. As much as I love the Celtics, and as much as this kills me to admit, they're pretenders until they prove otherwise.

Totally. Don’t know why they even played it.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Yup, just like the game against Washington shouldn't have been played either. Then we would never have lost to them and johnny wouldn't have felt so bad :police:

I've watched this team all season and I'm convinced their issue is mental - they rouse themselves for these big games but the little ones they don't really care if they win or lose. They don't care about seedings or any of that stuff, because they feel that they can beat whoever they play against in a seven game series.

It's maddening for fans who want them to win every game and stomp every team, but I feel they're just trying to get thru the regular season to get to the playoffs, where the team has been built to match up against the main teams we will face - Milwaukee and Philly. I'm not worried about their seeding either - what is most important to me is a) they enter the playoffs with the right mindset and playing their best basketball and b) they take every team seriously and focus on the small details instead of trying to take short cuts. Don't let poor offense lead to poor defense. Especially in that first round matchup where they might be playing against Brooklyn or Miami. Those teams match up well against us, they have some good two way wings to throw against Tatum and Brown.

Just as I didn't think they were that bad when they lost to Washington, Orlando or Houston, I don't think they're all that just because they are 5-1 against the Bucks and Sixers and just rinsed Milwaukee by 40. I do think they are one of the best teams in the NBA - when they are switched on. They have to continue to focus on the small details - boxing out for rebounds, cutting down turnovers, not letting go of the rope, working for good open shots, and not letting missed shots affect transition defense - and I think they should be alright

Holiday, 51 points last night on 30 attempts.  Wow.  I hope his arms are tired.

Holiday, 2-8, 6 points, I guess he was tired.  The whole team was tired from the looks of things.  Back to backs in the NBA are tough, it was an advantage for the Celtics, but this win was about more than just that.  The Celtics played great.  Really showed what they can do.  Now the Celtics have to prove that they can be that team when it really counts, in the playoffs.

You can't waste games in the playoffs (like we have in the regular season).  Every extra game you play, you are that much more worn down and it may come back to bite you in a game in the next round.  If you take say 6 games to beat ATL instead of 5, because you got lazy in a game, that can start to add up.  Maybe you are a little more tired in a game against PHI in the next round.   People are nursing injuries.  Every day of rest is important.
