Time to get on a run. Lock up the two seed at worst.

Nice to see that JB and JT both had a good game…

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

A healthy Rob with White really makes a huge difference.  Don't forget Brogdon sat this one out.

Not to suggest that 42 is a small amount, but it did seem nice that the team decided to attack the basket more and go inside rather than simply chucking up 3s all night long (and taking 50+). That's how we built a lead in the 2nd, and then a bigger one during the 3rd.

And while you'd prefer to do it a full 48 minutes, I think this team has shown glimpses of how good the defense looks when they decide to get engaged and turn it on in both the Kings game and this one. Timelord makes a difference.

It was a rough period late in the 1st through the middle of the 2nd quarter on defense, but in the 2nd half the C's only gave up 40 points. 10 of them were basically during garbage time too.

100%, this is what will make the difference in the ceiling of this team.

Saw an interview from yesterday's practice where Rob said his hamstring injury was super frustrating because he needed time off that he didn't even feel like was necessary. In other words, he felt 100% but his lift wasn't there when he came back.

I can definitely see how it was affecting him last time he came back, and I'm super glad they rested it again/maybe the knee scare was a blessing in disguise. If his last stint was 50% of Last Year's Timelord, he looked like 85% today.

ok lets give JT a little rest, get JB back in for his 30 and sit him too....
lots of games we still want to win in this regular season

You know, I was recently reading that it's actually better to up the guys' minutes in the final stretch, as it gets them better prepared for the higher minutes in the playoffs. Got to find a balance there.

Scal was actually just talking about that

That would apply more to guys who have been playing normal minutes to begin with.
Tatum and Brown have played way too many minutes this season. Did we learn nothing from last season ?
Tatum especially needs rest - he is a different player with fresh legs. Let him sit at home for a couple of the road games remaining.
Others who should reduce and not increase minutes down the stretch, Horford, Smart and maybe even White. He has played a lot.

The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

TL is learning how to manage  his injury .  This level tonight was pretty good place to be at all things considered.  95% would be amazing.
