C's very fortunate to seal it with that transition Brogdon dunk.  Failure to rebound could have cost us this game.

Big play by Al!

But good Lord this rebounding is atrocious. And while the small ball certainly doesn't help, we're just not prioritizing and hustling for the boards the same way they are.

that didn't look like it was on purpose.  Smart just too hotheaded to be relied on in these situations
Smart is always playing the game within the game.  It’s frustrating.
Just play basketball !!

It's been worse lately since coming back from injury.

I wonder if White's emergence and the noise about him has Smart concerned about his starting spot and playing time.
honestly, it should.  I felt like we overpaid for White initially but I've come around on that deal the past couple of months and would appreciate the fact he makes a lot less mistakes that than Smart.  he doesn't make as many spectacular plays as Smart but he doesn't make any mistakes from showboating or trying to do more than he should.

if they don't win the title this year, I wouldn't object to Smart being used as the centerpiece in a trade for a better big man to add to the rotation next year

Twice on that play a Hawk came from out of bounds to grab the ball without first establishing two feet in bounds. If the refs don't know the rule book, what's the point?

Smart is not playing well right now.

Needs to get his head back on straight.  Sheesh

Since he's come back we've been bad.

Brog and White both super efficient tonight.
Much rather have either one closing than Smart right now anyways

the c’s lack of defensive rebounding nicely counteracted by the hawk’s poor shooting.

sadly, the c’s will see this as a solid win, instead of another sign they’re not where they need to be for the playoffs.

If Brad believes the game should be played successfully by the team jacking up 40+ three-pointers per game, then why didn't he stock the roster full of shooters ?  This current group has guys that can score, but we are very streaky perimeter shooters.

Brogdon just sealed the why smart should've earlier.

LOL yep. Smart would have tossed it "accidentally" to  the second row
