Atlanta or Washington should be our desired first round matchups, with Miami, Chicago, and Toronto being in the second grouping. I think we'll beat any of them, but the first two are likely quick series with not much resistance.

Yeah the 1 seed likely plays ATL or WAS. That'd be an easy matchup

2 seed though likely plays MIA or BKN which is not ideal...

Eh, Brooklyn will likely be a short series, too. They just don't have the talent to hang, barring an epic collapse on our end haha

Miami would be tougher just because of their D, but they can't score and shoot sustainably long enough to make it an actual competitive series.

Still no GWill.

Definitely more than a matchup issue. I think Hauser has just beat him out of the rotation.

Grant also has a nagging injury to his shoulder I think...

Unless Miami suddenly remembers how to shoot, they're not a terrible matchup.

I would like to avoid Brooklyn. Long, athletic, with lots of solid defenders. Dinwiddie, Bridges, Curry and Harris have all been Celtic killers at times

Yeah I was going to say, Grant has been dealing with a strain in his shoulder for a while now. I think they are being cautious with him as well. Which is fine. I do agree with Mazzulla and the others that we do need Grant in the playoffs. Especially for the potential defense against the likes of Embiid/Giannis.

Hauser will get his minutes in the postseason too, but lets be real he isn't going to be part of the "frontcourt"

I really hope stuff is actually done about the refs this offseason. The Lebron incident against us, FVV going off on them recently, and then only having 1 challenge in a game. There's definitely going to be talks about this

Smart simply does not make enough "winning plays" anymore in these games. White and Brogdon should both be playing more tbh

Great defense by Tatum there to stall that play and avoid the corner three.

Another test coming up for Mazz. How far will he let this go before actually calling a timeout
