Gallo seems to be ramping up his workouts which is good to see. Earlier this week, Danilo mentioned that the recovery is going very well and he’s still hopeful of being able to play in the postseason. Last regular season game for the C’s is 4/09, Play-In tournament is 4/11 to 4/14 and the postseason starts 4/15.

His progression:

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I admire his effort , and would love to see him help this team in some small way in the postseason. Still, even if he's ready to play, it takes guys half a season or so to get back to speed after returning to action from a torn ACL.

Don't need him. We got Hauser and Muscala to do what Gallo would have done.

Gallo is a 4 who can probably play some 5 in a pinch given he’s 6’10”/240lbs. Hauser is strictly a 3 and Muscala is dealing with knee tendinitis. Grant has been really bad lately and Rob is hurt again. If Gallo is available, even for limited minutes in the postseason, I’d say the C’s could use that.

Gallo also has a much deeper skillset than any of those guys. Still, I can't see him being ready for playoff minutes this year. Gallo really wants it though. He's a longtime Celtics fan and you can see his desire to contribute to a Celtics championship run.
