Losing those games to orl and okc are haunting us.

Would like to know why Brown was out too
Back to wanting Joe fired.

Pretty pathetic showing. Literally didn’t have it from the start. Big week coming up. They could be down 3 games to the Bucks by Sunday.

Knicks are a good team. They play hard.

Celtics are a better team and they played terrible tonight.

Course the C’s are better. Just acknowledging that Thibs has the Knicks playing some good ball. They’ve won 6 in a row and will be a tough out in the playoffs.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Joe really needs to have a discussion with Tatum. Clearly something is wrong with him lately. Maybe it's the All Star accolades or something, but his game hasnt been the same since the ASG announcement.

I think they’ll win the next 3 personally.

that's definitely about the time that Tatum has been in this funk.  I don't think Joe has the skills to get through to Tatum though.

I'm actually a bit concerned about Rob. He was a complete non-factor out there, even when he was in good position. He had no presence on defense and wasn't aggressive on offense. Does his lift look impaired to anyone else?

C’s need to start faster against these feisty teams. NY had too much confidence and C’s trying to play catch up all game.
seemed their attitude was that they could just flip a switch and win.  they were proven wrong

I don't think it's his lift.  he just looks lost out there like he doesn't know what he should be doing

Eddie House is right in the post-game.   basically, need to come up with offense other than chucking 3's.  should have put Tatum in the post

The way our team is built it's hard to win when we shoot 21% from 3, given the volume we shoot. We have to get better at winning ugly, when we shoot bad. That's why those are the wins I love, that others here are usually upset about, the ones where we shoot terrible but find a way to win, whether it's by defense or by manufacturing shots closer to the basket. Because we're not always going to shoot 40-50% from 3, especially in the playoffs.

agreed but the problem is the offensive philosophy of this coaching staff.  we've been a "live by the 3, die by the 3" team since Brad was hired as coach.  if we're having a bad shooting night, we never deviate from that game plan to generate points without chucking 3's.

this inflexibility in that offensive philosophy has me questioning more and more if this is the coaching staff that can get us over the finish line for banner 18.

Hopefully this is a wake up call for the C’s. They need to get their edge back.
