I hope the reporters rip Joe yet again in the after game interview for this nonsense. Dude is going to cost us playoff wins with his incompetence.

you might want to take a walk around the block and relax a bit. it was a tough game but another game is coming.

How about Brad's pick up of Muscala. Insta-dividends.

Was ready to heap some praise on Joe, but he just goes.out of his way to not coach with common sense.

The guys fighting and not giving up was a good sign though. I'll give him that.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

I know we all would like for the C's to have HCA in the playoffs. It really doesn't matter though when it comes to winning a title.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
I know no one expected them to win, but they had a great chance and once again Joe refuses to call a timeout. Makes me crazy

Yeah, it’s fine if you want to give Tatum, Brown, and Smart live in-game experience for end of game situations, but that is barely a bench line-up out there, never mind closing line-up. We really needed a timeout there to give the team a chance to regroup. That Holiday 3 (yet another one) was a dagger.

As the resident Joe fan, he should've used his last timeout when he saw Grant trying to dribble past Giannis. Why on Earth does GWill not just shoot when he catches the ball?

Thank you!

Regarding GWill - that drives me just as nuts as Joe does. He almost *always* pump fakes it, and all it does is make him kill the ball movement. Boneheaded play by him, too.

Can’t wait to have Smart back so he can go at Holiday. Honestly a lot less scared of this Bucks team after tonight. The crowd looks foolish going crazy cheering on the team after this one
They're as deep as the C's are and they're adding Crowder plus Middleton's getting healthy. Won't be easy. The C's will need their A game.

Agreed.  One regular season game doesn't mean much.  I think we have the advantage in a 7 game series but I don't think anyone would be surprised if Milwaukee takes it.

liked a lot of what I saw from the bench brigade.  biggest takeaway from this game -- Milwaukee doesn't scare me at all in the playoffs.
- Muscala looks like a great pickup
- Brogdon and White are great support players
- Hauser looked good again.
- someone needs to work with timelord to get him to take shots in the lane and develop some moves to finish something other than a 2-footer around the basket.  also, a bit concerning that he can't play with Lopez on the court.
- Blake was terrific tonight.  should have played him more in the second half.  Kornet should have gotten some burn as well
- 13 TOs killed us -- 11 in the second half.   Grant had 5 by himself.
- PP didn't have a good game.  a couple of good moments but not a good game.

bottom line, we get our starters back, I have a lot of confidence in this bench to get us a championship this year

Boston Milwaukee finishing 1/2. Doesn’t matter because Boston can win in Milwaukee if need be.

The real key is finishing in first or second. Don’t fear anyone in the east. Sixers, Heat or cavs. Don’t think bucks are as good as years past

Any of the Joe apologists still ready to excuse that one, too? Just another inexcusable brain fart by him.

Thinks bench players should just iso their way to tie the game up against the best defense in the league. Freaking inexcusable.

like what? Our b-team was playing man. this wasn't even supposed to be a game.

Yet it was, and our incompetent clearly doesn't learn from his mistakes. He literally expected a bench group to iso a shot to tie or win the game against the best defense in the league.

It's just astounding the incompetence.

Love that people are trying to blame Joe for this loss. Yes, if only he called a timeout, Grant wouldn’t have dribbled the ball of of his own foot. it’s clearly Joes fault for letting Grant do that.  ::)

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

All I’m going to say is if any team gives him 20 million a year, they are out of their mind

HCA doesn't matter as much as matchups do. C's path to the Finals caught up to them eventually. I would prefer the C's avoid Miami this year. They wear the C's out too much.

Role players like grant have no margin for error. Too many second half turnovers

Milwaukee has now won 11 in a row and is getting healthier. I also get the impression that some here understimate Middleton. He balances the scales.

Both teams showed plenty tonight but only one of them is coming out of the East.  Brad was wise to make the move for Muscalla. They're going to need him.
