Now he decides to call the timeout.

Why not just have the end of the bench figure it out for themselves, Joe? This is probably going to hurt us in the playoffs now on the off chance that four of our starters are out injured for a game.  ::)

Still up 5 with a quarter to go. We can do this!

Agreed.  Play free Celtics, let it rip.  Don’t play scared.

T-minus 1 minute until someone blames Joe not calling a timeout for that shot by Jrue.

Nope.

But hemorrhaging as many points as we did during their run when we literally have one starter playing tonight? Absolutely. Sitting on your hands is not an effective strategy when you have a fully healthy squad with two All-NBA players, let alone with this ragtag group.

Our lead maxed out at 14 and was down to 8 before that 60 footer by Jrue? net 6-point runs over the course of 5 minutes are pretty standard fare.

And gave them momentum, and now two minutes later we're down 1, on the road, without four starters. A competent coach tries to avoid this from happening from the get-go - not hold to a dogmatic philosophy that makes no sense in this context.

i am very happy with how the celtics have played so far. how many starters are out or at half speed? all five of them.

only down a few points and plenty of time left. but win or lose, i am enjoying watching the bench play hard.

Well it's nice we have fought all night. Just sucks that we had a 14 point lead and blew it in just 4 minutes

Yeah, screw what I said before about being happy with what we’ve seen tonight. Team just completely laid down for the Bucks and are poised to get blown out at this point. Just an embarrassing last few minutes. And Holiday 3/4 court shot was devastating when we seemingly got the momentum back on that Pritchard and-one

We're obviously really shorthanded but I don't like the decision to keep PP in the game.  We've not looked good with him on the floor.
agreed.  offense has not looked good with him out there this half
