great WIN Celtics!

one thing I don't understand.  we are playing Grant W. on Embiid a lot.  Why does Embiid settle for 15 foot jump shots against Grant?
If I was Doc Rivers, I would just tell Embiid straight out, get on the box, Celtics dont have anyone that can stop you inside.  Get down there and get to work.  Yet Embiid lets the much smaller player off the hook over and over again in Grant.

Great for us, so dumb for the Sixers.

I think now we’ve set it so it’s us and Milwaukee battling for the 1 seed and that’s it. Today’s win over PHI is basically a 2-game advantage in the standings. Even if PHI beats us the next two times, we very likely own the tiebreaker. With 27-28 games to go, PHI would have to basically make up a 5 game difference against us since they are currently 4 games back of us but likely don’t have the tiebreaker

It’s not impossible but it’s pretty unlikely. PHI does have a tough March schedule as well.

Felt like a 3-team battle royale for the 1 seed a week ago but PHI has stumbled lately

Hopefully MIL can start losing though

I think Embiid is concerned about his long term health. He has a good shot for a big man, and much prefers the safety of a fadeaway to a potential broken foot down low.

We were without four of our top 8 players and we still beat them. Crazy. We did shoot the lights out, but still.

PP playing just four minutes makes me think that he’s gonna be traded. Rumor is PP+Gallo for a big. We’ll soon find out!

The bucks won’t sit around at deadline. They’ll make a big move I think.

Grant did a really good job using his strength to keep Embiid out of the paint, same as we’ve seen him do against Giannis.  It’s not all on Embiid.  Grant is a strong dude with good defensive fundamentals.

Grant is also very good at drawing offensive fouls on guys who try to power through him when he's set in a good defensive position. I imagine that could have played on Embiid's mind
