Finally showing some intensity, but again it comes after several makes in a row - all that had to be created by the team themselves.
It started with two (bad) iso Tatum threes back to back that happened to go in. That's what started off this run, and that's the problem. Joe's entire philosophy is so hands off and wanting the team to "figure it out themselves", that it leads to them having to play hero ball like this and hope that it sparks the run.
And unlike last year where our defense sparked our offense and was the constant, the only constant we have now is that if we're not making the three ball we're not playing with intensity or pace.
The latter issue is harder to fix and starts with a culture change, which just not sure is actually on the table for this team. But the former issue is simply fixed by Joe actually doing his job and being more involved with managing the flow of the game, like calling plays out to get guys good looks, which should've happened for Tatum a long time ago instead of making him iso himself into getting in a rhythm.
