serious question: can anyone decipher the c’s offensive strategy? it’s so clunky and inefficient, i honesty cannot determine what they’re “attempting” to do.
shoot as many 3's as possible

we really have no true PG that can run an offensive set -- not that Joe seems to have one in his playbook

yeah, i know they emphasize 3’s but what’s the strategy? for example, golden state emphasizes the 3 but their offensive strategy is clear. i cannot comprehend how the c’s offense is managed.

At the beginning of the year it looked like our off philosophy was move without the ball and share the ball until we break the def down for a great shot.  Lately not as much.

and i think that’s why they were a great 3 shooting team. the 3’s were open shots, in the rhythm of the game with the defense chasing due to great ball movement.

now it’s 3’s off iso’s, which has killed their efficiency. seems a few guys are worried about getting their fair share, instead of working within the offense. this is a coaching issue.

Weak bench tonight.

Hauser, Kornet. Pritchard as 7th man.

Brogdon only legit talent off the bench.

We look like a very pedestrian team right now. Something is definitely off. Smart couldn’t come back any sooner. Why can’t we even show some intensity after a string of terrible losses is beyond me. This team needs a major jolt.

7 assists as a team at the half.  That's all you need to know.

Can't wait to come out with like 5 iso-3s that miss, while LAL just scores some easy buckets on the other end and we're down 11+ quickly...  ::)

Sam Hauser and Kornet are unplayable. Have to upgrade the bench Brad.

Or we can watch the C’s come out playing better def, getting stops and move out to the lead…

Starting to hear more and more noise questioning (rightly) some of what Joe is doing, including in the national media.

Good. Because what's been going on clearly isn't working. Even during the winning streak, it wasn't great basketball like we started off the season with. He needs to feel the pressure and figure out wheat he needs to do to get this team to buy back in to what they were doing to start the season. He's clearly failing the team right now, because either he's okay with the awful iso-heavy offense of recent, or he's just not getting through to them to get back to good offensive basketball.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Can’t remember the last time the Celtics put together a full game effort.

  • Signature move: Punch to the jejunum
7 total assists for the half.

One of the foundations under Udoka was ball movement, the team seems to have forgotten this principle under Mazzulla.
