Gonna cut them some slack. Dropping three in a row sucks but it was bound to happen.

The season is long. It’s hard to stay laser focused for 82 games.

Also it seems like the last 2 weeks we’ve had more guys banged up and missing games.

Not to mention the Celtics have every team gunning for them every time they step on the court. Means a little more when you’re playing the best.

Joe  is Brad 2.0.
Soft and doesn't hold these guys accountable.

Well joe, you get your teachable moments out of this which are more valuable than a win.

Yeah, I think they both struggle in that regard. The character of this team is completely different from last year, and that's mainly because Ime held them accountable. It's hard for Joe to hold some of these guys accountable when he's so green that he's probably played less basketball than many of them. But at least Brad has a brilliant offensive mind. Joe has yet to show anything like that.

God, Ime really screwed us. I'm worried that Joe with his new offensive philosophy and lackluster accountability has already undone a lot of what he and Brad did last year. So frustrating.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

showing Randle laughing at Brown over the miss.  hope they play that for Jaylen repeatedly all season to make him hate that feeling and learn to focus on his FTS

Randle should have walked across the lane giving Brown the choke sign, vintage Cedric Maxwell.

yeah, i remember that. max was brutal.

I've heard Worthy still talk about Max with anger even all these years later.

As Max said, "I wasn't the one who missed the shot, he missed the shot."

Speaking of which , our current team sure could use a Cedric Maxwell type competitor on the roster.

Being the best means you don't drop 3 in a row to terrible/not good teams.
Last I checked 2 of those teams hold playoff spots.

Brad should've went with some exp. How could he not see what ime did and try to find someone who would employ discipline. Instead he found the complete opposite.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

Still hate how many 3’s the C’s are taking. 46 tonight. Ridiculous.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

bird would have questioned this team’s heart and called them a bunch of sissies.

Ime absolutely would've and regularly did when they played like this.

Joe will probably say something to the effect, "Well, just one of those nights. I liked the shots we were getting. They just didn't go in." Ridiculous. No accountability.

We need a couple of players to help out the bench. Grant and Kornet are both terrible this year and we need a solid 3rd big man for sure. I would also love a pritchard replacement. Hes gotten multiple chances to earn a spot and he just fumbles it every time. Too many hero shots for my liking
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden

Particularly when you watch the tape and you see that we got back into this by pounding the paint with penetration. We have so many players - Tatum, Brown, Brogdon, White, and even Smart - that can generally get to the hole versus almost any defender with either their speed, quick first step, or ball-handling/footwork, yet Joe just insists on this ridiculous three point heavy philosophy.

Lost the series to orl, dropped this game, and choked the game they should've won in Miami.

The common theme here is they fall into iso and poor shot selection when they're up. These guys are experienced enough to know you can't coast like that, yet they still do it. Unfortunately they have a bro calling plays rather than a coach.

That play where brown watched the ball just roll out of bounds rather than hustle for it illustrates everything wrong with this team top to bottom.

But then at the end when they had to have baskets, they drove again and again, getting layups, being fouled.

46, That is so bad, but we had 50+ a few games back. Incredible.
