Not to make this a gender issue, but I pray to god a lot of these female refs don't work the playoffs. Almost all of them are ATROCIOUS

I'm still in favor of trading PP and Kornet and pieces for a quality big, but it will sting. Dude is a beast, his defense is really good, but Toronto didn't really hunt him, which was a mistake.

let's be honest here.  gender has nothing to do with it.  NBA refs in general are atrocious.  they're no better or worse than their male counterparts.

They are atrocious. All nba refs. The one that was in Chicago that gave techs to almost everyone and this one today. Just not good enough.

his ability to mix it up for rebounds is overlooked.  PP always provides hustle on the boards.  other than that bad TO at the end, he played a really good game for us

To be candid, it's not a gender issue.  The NBA just doesn't have many good refs, period.

I don't think the Celtics are getting screwed specifically.  I think Toronto has nearly as much beef as we do tonight.  I thought Golden State had as much beef as we did the other night.  They're simply missing far, far too many calls all across the league and it's harming their product.

There is a big enough sample size now to show that, yes, you are making this a gender issue.

Dear NBA,

Please find a replacement referee for #89 Dannica Mosher.  She has no business officiating at the highest level of basketball competition in the world.  Thanks.

She might actually be even worse than Lauren Holtkamp.  And that's saying a lot.

Nice win. Late TP’s.

What a great pair of 4th quarters for the C's in the past two games.  Held GS to 17 points in the 4th, then we hold Toronto to 19 points in the 4th while missing two of our best defensive players in Smart and Timelord.

They might be a little worse because they’re less experienced, but I agree.  The end of the Lakers-Mavs game earlier this week was awful, and there weren’t any female refs there.

If the female refs are in fact performing more poorly, then it’s potentially an affirmative action issue due to lowered standards.  But ultimately, the solution is to hire the best refs and to judge them on individual performance.
