JB really gutting it out at the end there, the 3 to get us to over time, a bunch of points in overtime, great assist to Al, great play to save the assist back to Tatum....after a horrible start, JB got it going at the end of the game and in overtime.

That Klay turnover at the end of the game cost GS the game! GS had 16 turnovers!

I don't mind him playing big minutes in an important game, but overall, he is playing way too much time this year.
They played him into the ground last season.
Maybe with less minutes, he makes less bonehead plays.

Hopefully they shook the monkey off their back with this win. I'd not be shocked to see GS flip the switch in the playoffs and make it back to the finals.

I'm convinced it's 100% mental and not a question of talent.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

Joe's refusal to admit Jaylen wasn't ready to play: Is he being stubborn or is he afraid of Brown/weak? Because it definitely isn't good coaching.

Just wanted to bring back one of the JB not ready/ Mazzulla needs to coach better (take Jaylen out) posts.

JB the key to the win at the end. No doubt about that.
But he was killing us through most of the game. And my question was fair- was Joe being stubborn? You obviously think he was being stubborn and you think it was the right thing to do. I disagreed. It was unlikely that Brown was going to shake it off in time. He literally shook off the rust at the last second.
Wow, looks like there was a legitimate question in my post and not just negative complaining. Before you call fellow posters out, maybe people should pause and look for the benefit of the doubt.

Best win of the season !

I came away, thinking just the opposite. Tatum was interviewed after the game and said he thought the team came out tight because they were thinking too much about Golden State. I think that is right on. They were tight. They played bad all game. Got lucky at the end and got a win which is great, but this should be more of a learning moment than something to celebrate.

Man....C's tried to give it away once again---but how AWFUL are these Refs????? Sooooo many missed/WRONG calls...That ball off of Wiggins should have ended OT right there---but they give The Warriors another chance for another miracle half court shot....gimme a break.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

How about Big Al and Robert Williams with double-double and their statlines.

Our frontcourt gotta be used more often to pose threat to them

This might've been Brogdon's worse game as a Celtic. I don't think he's been in many big games.

They have to check the refs bank accounts after that crap show! I hope they lost money!

Stop dumping on the Cs and recognize they are a great team and have now won 8 in a row.

Some people just like to complain no matter what. If the C’s win the championship in 5 they’ll say that they should have won in 4. All you can do is laugh.
It can be tough to dismiss, but you have to let the complainers complain or get stuck in their loop of complaining about their complaints lol.

The Celtics are the best team in the NBA, 8 game win streak, #1 record in the league, hold a comfortable lead over the #2 in the East; and they just defeated their Ken Norton one of their ugliest games of the season. Life is good.
