What do you guys think about Rob? His blocks have been down.
He's letting guys waltz by him to the rim.

In addition to giving them shooting practice from beyond the arc.

(And as I type this, Poole gets another three off the high PnR with Rob way too far down.)

But is that Rob or is that the scheme? To me, it's the scheme. That drop pick & roll coverage has been a problem all year, imo.

Oh well. Let’s hope the warriors don’t come out of that west because it’s going to end poorly for Boston

Who’s going to beat them when healthy? Denver and their no defensive big man? GS has no fear in the West.

I don't get it, they're lethargic and the only energy shown came from al and rob.

Back to wanting Joe fired.

Mazzula is horrible with Time outs.
That timeout was about 3 possessions too late.

It's the scheme, and it's a stupid one.  The refusal to stop that deep drop on the PnRs is the top reason why our defense has declined so much this year.

And this is why some people call Jayson Tatum soft - as in not mentally tough and not a hard-core competitor.

Coach Van Gundy said it well - Curry and Thompson are approaching tonite as a special game, an important game.

Brown and Tatum ? Not enough aggression and the Warriors are in Tatum's head, no question.

It would be nice if the supposed best duo in the league could wake up.

This is 100% a mental choke job and shows they aren’t ready to win a championship

Good grief.  Tatum is getting sonned by this team once again.  For some reason he just can’t get over this mental block.

It doesn't help that we run nothing to get him in a rhythm. Just pick & roll/pop to death and passing it around the perimeter and hope he can create for himself. I would like to see a simple play set up for him going to the basket on a back cut or roll.

Joe is getting outclassed

Honestly, this happens on most nights, but we can usually out-talent the opponent to a win. That ain't happening in games like this or in the playoffs. This laissez faire coaching philosophy is just non-sense.

God, I miss Ime (though even Ime made the mistake of the terrible drop coverage for too long before adjusting).
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Mazzulla's timeout logic is extremely dumb.

Mark my words, it's gonna cost us in a playoff game at some point. You can't let a great team like MIL or BKN just waltz to some 18-0 run and think we can still find a way to win, which Mazzulla seems to think we can do because we need to "battle through adversity"  ::)

Why do they keep using that drop coverage ? Has Mazzulla been asked about it by reporters ?
