how is it a mediocre defensive team like Brooklyn can render the C's incapable of running a basic offensive scheme?

Brooklyn doing a better job of shutting off the simple passing lanes they were giving up in the first half, and it's led to a few ugly possessions and turnovers for us.  Need more movement off ball.
