Reggie Miller is Gawd-awful. Along with what he says, his voice is annoying as hell.
The ESPN women commentators also Gawd-awful - they try too hard and yell into the mic.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

Scal and Perk not a good combo.

Most former players are terrible commentators IMO.

Interesting opinion ...... you may be right.
A few good ones though, Tommy of course, I always liked Bill Russell and Rick Barry.
Walt Frazier currently with the Knicks
, I like Mark Jackson because of his basketball sensibilities (tho I am in the minority).

Unpopular opinion - I really didn't like Tommy as a broadcaster. He was very biased, and that along with some of his antics got annoying. I feel like Frazier is bad, too.

Rick Barry is really good. One of my favs. Mchale has done good stuff, too

Tommy's bias was part of his charm, just like Johnny Most - unapologetic homers.

Rick Barry was especially good when he joined Musberger in the '76 Finals after his Warriors team was upset by Phoenix.
Those two called the Greatest NBA Game Ever Played. Watched that game with my Dad.
I learned so much about the game from Rick Barry on TBS and Tommy Heinson on CBS. I cant name a single broadcaster today that teaches me about the NBA game.

(When I was a kid I didn't know Tommy was a Celtic and thought he was biased against Boston. So glad I got to hear the real Tommy working with Gorman.)

Rockets had a stupid announcer back few years ago, I had to turn off before the show started , but it’s been a while since I watched a Houston game.

Tommy was the best, especially when he dumped on refs.  I miss him.

JB, stop forcing the crap and stat hunting. Play within the flow of the offense. Can be a blackhole at times.

Ok, this third quarter is totally the opposite of how we ended the half.

I like seeing Joe get into Jaylen’s ear there.

I don’t get it. Might as well just check in when they face playoff teams from here on out.

Ugghhhh, hopefully that's nothing for Smart. I didn't see anything but maybe a bumped knee?

That's why we should hang on to Pritchard.  Serviceable player in case Smart, Brogdon, or White misses time.

Aight I'm hoping this isn't anything serious for Smart. We all overlook him, but he's honestly thr engine of the best offense in the nba

It looked like a knee to the thigh? Or was it knee to knee?
