Okay, I've seen enough. That last possession by Johnson was downright brutal. No effort defensively whatsoever. And Joe is just over there chewing that gum, completely clueless about how to get his guys to show some effort.

Can we demote Joe and promote Stoudamire to interim head coach? He at least seems like he'd hold the guys accountable, because that's clearly not happening right now.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

This is arguably the worst defensive performance by ANY team this season.

I’m rooting for the 150-piece now.  Hell, make it 160.  Drive that needle in, make it hurt.  Maybe that’ll wake somebody on this team up.
teams need to have pride for that kind of a beating to wake them up.  I just don't see that in this group.

that coast to coast dunk with 5 seconds left was just pathetic.  So NO ONE can stop the guy with the ball?  That is middle school basketball.

I say don't pull the starters, make them live through this and then make them watch the film about 3-4 times.

Coast to coast? What a gutless cowardly performance

if you are the coach of this team, do you think about benching some guys for what happened tonight?
I mean, in this day and age, what gets the attention of the players?

Don’t think we are going to see this team get rolling like last year. They are just inconsistent game to game.

it does raise a question of how bad do things have to get this season for Brad to determine Joe's not the guy to get this team to a title.  they got to the finals last year based on a stifling defense, not their offense.  this year, the focus was on offense with the defense taking a noticeable hit.  that change in coaching philosophy relies too much on the team making lots of shots because their D won't keep them in games.  We're seeing a perfect example of that tonight.  saw another example in the last game as well.

Up next is a Dallas team who’s probably itching to get back at us. I’d like to think that his team shows up. If they get blown out of that game that would really be concerning. There should be no way to go but up after this dismal performance.

The schtick for Mazzulla is up. Cs have been a .500 team for over a month now. Cs have zero identity. Their defense hasn’t been great. Their unsustainable shooting to start the season has leveled out. Mazzulla should be on the hot seat. He’s pretended to be a head coach long enough.

Rough start to the 2023 year so far. Seems like old habits die hard with this team. First that slump post-Phoenix game and now that Denver game and this demoralizing beat down.
