Who does Stoudamire trust off the bench in the 2nd half?  Obviously Grant and Timelord, but we need production from either Hauser, Pritchard, or someone else.

yeah it would be really nice to get some points from PP and Hauser tonight.
knock down some shots fellas, and stretch the defense a bit...

Did anyone else catch that? Mike said 14 point lead when we're only up 11.

You can tell he's getting older. I notice a lot more mistakes from him broadcasting now than even a year or so ago. Reminds me of Hubie Brown's and Marv Albert's deterioration where they started making lots of mistakes on the call.

Yeah, I've been noticing it lot. Makes me sad honestly.

just joined the game a few minutes ago. i like the score. and 11 point lead even when they shoot 25% from 3.

tp for a recap of the game so far.

after what we did last year with the Smart / Jaylen / JT / Horford / Timelord lineup, why wouldn't that be the default that we just go back to?  i don't get why Mazz would say that Timelord will keep coming off the bench?

Lets go back to that lineup and clobber teams right out of the gate again.

Hopefully it's just a way to better manage Rob and Al's minutes.

But I get the sense that he's a much bigger fan of small ball than Ime was.

Yeah, I guess it is just a different approach, but still the eye test says to me that it is still our best lineup.  maybe I am way off?

Perfect opportunity for them to come in and do what they do.  Unfortunately 3 misses.  I hope they get another run mid-third.

He's been getting players names wrong regularly this year too.

We're 5-20 from three and up double digits. This team is learning how to win when the 3 pt shot is not falling.

Best game attacking the rim - both off of the pass and the dribble - that they've had all year.

And it's against an elite defense.

I love that we only have 2 turnovers tonight so far.
Keep that up, don't leave points on the table.

I think it’s been for a couple years - more frequent errors.  I do think he’s got another year in him, and then hopefully a lot more in retirement.  Despite the mental errors, he’s still … got it.

Hard to know, really. Need to see that unit on the floor more together to get a better sense of how Timelord fits in this more movement-based offense.

first half hot takes:
- J's are playing well.
- C's maintaining a lead thanks to taking care of the ball.  need that to continue to win this game
- Clips offense was going about as well as it could most of the half in terms of getting the shots they want and they still trail.  Boston needs someone besides the J's to really step it up in the second half.

and unfortunately for GreenlyGreeny, Kawhi has looked good but he's not blowing us away nor better than Jaylen -- and definitely not playing at a level that would justify trading Jaylen and all our future picks for him.   ::)

How many times are we going to drop or be slow to the PnR coverage? We're getting killed in that yet again.
