League pass is looking more and more like a waste of money if this is what I'm getting to see
Back to wanting Joe fired.

Celtics will be just fine…win a championship this year fine? Doubtful.
They’ll be perfectly fine though and potentially make the finals. Clearly a little overrated or were just hot/playing better then most teams to start the season

Rick Carlisle is just what this Celtics group needs. An old-school hard ass and a guy who has an understanding of Celtic Pride.
why not bring in bobby valentine?
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

can't put yourself in a 35+ point hole and come back without the other teams shooting really going down the drain.
i don't see really anything positive out of this game.

The only positive is that they did come back, which showed that they did respond...but that just magnifies that they dug a huge hole for themselves to begin with. If they had played with the same verve and enthusiasm, and the same attention to detail in the first half as they did in the second they probably win this game with enough to spare. Take nothing away from Indiana, they are a great young team with some solid talent, but we showed that we lost by 5 points playing only one good half and one atrocious one.

I think they need to take a good hard look at themselves and realize they're not as good as they think they are, they can't always come back from huge deficits. Tatum was really the only guy that came to play throughout the game, Brown was pretty meh, as was Al. Just a lot of careless mistakes.

Interesting. I finally decided to subscribe this year and thought I had picked the perfect season.
They were so much fun to watch. But now I feel like you do.

At least Rob is rounding into good shape.  12 rebs in 22min.

Bad habits. Entitlement. We've seen it all before when Brad was coaching towards the end of his tenure. This looks exactly like that, exacerbated by a super hot start that let the guys play lazy and just chuck three after three after three. The guys play like they can just flip a switch and win it at any time and only have to play hard when they absolutely have to.

I was a huge Ime fan from the get-go, because I've always felt that this group was best with a strong, firm leader type as coach. Joe is much more in line with Brad in that regard, yet he's lacking Brad's experience and brilliant basketball mind.

I truly do think Joe is going to be on the hot seat soon, particularly given his interim status. If your entire philosophy is based on make/miss and you simply can't win without making threes, that's a problem. And that doesn't even touch the "no management in game" philosophy that has absolutely killed us the past ten or so games.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Tough loss tonight, but I am optimistic with the positive signs they showed in the second half. Most importantly , the Celtics defense finally made an appearance for the first time in ages.

They also looked more comfortable with Rob out there, and he showed he still can change the game with his athleticism. Tatum also showed excellent aggressiveness going to the hoop. Brown however killed us with his turnovers and bad shots.

Play one half and almost win. This team is frustrating

Have the Celtics even looked at a scouting report in the last week? Taking these teams too lightly

Well Halliburton has burned us big time before, there is no excuse even if they didn’t look at a scouting report

You guys think it’s time to go back to the TL-Big Al-JT-JB-Smart starting line up? If we start cold then at least we could have a potentially disruptive defense to keep the other team from scoring in bunches.

I think that's where we are heading but it will take some more time to work Timelord up to speed before starting him.
