Giannis will feast on them on Tuesday, just watch.

Is Giannis now a Laker?!  ;)

We play the Bucks on Sunday on Christmas. We have the LA doubleheader next on Monday and Tuesday.

GS plays Bucks on Tuesday.

Ohhhhh gotcha. I thought you were meaning us. My bad. TP.

Too many late nights in SF cause weak legs.

Tatum laid an egg, Golden State was still in his head.   All this talk of titles is for naught until he asserts himself on the warriors.   Talk isn't going to cut it.  You have to outplay them.

And Tatum couldn't wait to go joke around with his buddy Draymond. No heart. Not a winner. Everything he said about the Finals loss motivating him was bull.

Are you kidding me ?????????

I quit watching. Say all you want about giving the guy a break for an occasional bad game, etc.
His lack of toughness is the real problem, not some bad shooting night.

Hugging up to Draymond and playing badly tonight happen for that same reason. Weak-ass competitor.

Perk said JT was spooked
E House said GS has C’s number

Are they overeacting?

Saying this is just a regular season game in the middle of the season before the holidays is the lamest excuse.  GS didn’t treat it like such

Safe to say we have enough evidence to conclude tatum is a frontrunner.  He has the talent to be what we thought he is, but he is not there yet.

Disagree a 24-year old that took us to the finals last year.
Players don't overreact to one regular season game. Fans on the other hand.....

I don’t think most of us are over reacting to losing, we are reacting to the lack of mental focus and effort.  That shouldn’t change at any time.  It isn’t season detailing, but it was a chance to make a point and we just shriveled.

Yep, this. Particularly with JT. They were missing their best JT defender, and I don't think they particularly do anything that makes it harder on JT. It really does seem to be mostly mental with him against GS.
have to say this has some merit.  Tatum saw the same swarming D focussed on him that he sees every game.  most other games, he's focussed enough to still be effective with his shooting, playmaking, rebounding and defense.  tonight, he was useless on the floor in all aspects of the game.
6-21, 2-9 from 3.  4-7 from FT.   just 2 TOs but looked like so much sloppier watching him with the ball tonight.
-13 tonight -- showed how much he dragged down the team tonight.  not big on +/- as an indicator but it fits tonight

This is a massive overreaction tonight... LOL

How many times do we have to see a big game or series and say "If tatum just showed up how he normally does"?

The Warriors are still.plain better and that isn't going to change barring injury.

We just going to ignore that the C’s are missing two starters?  ???

Pretty sure the warriors are missing a starter as well….it’s no excuse ?

Pretty sure the C’s not having Al or Rob is a bigger deal than GS missing Wiggins. Boston had no rim protection and they were out-rebounded 53-39. It’s not an excuse, these are facts.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

And I'll hear how that doesn't matter unless he does it against the Warriors. It's a fair weather board.

Night!

I agree they are in his head, but don’t just assume the
warriors will be back. I don’t worry about western conference teams because we’ll only have to worry about one of them if we get there. My money is on the fact that it won’t be the Warriors.

24 yo that has been to how many conference championships....

Age isn't an excuse anymore when a guy has that much playoff experience. He's good player, but he's not the guy.

This is a game in the middle of a long road trip before the holidays as the team has been clearly the best in the league and just thrashed the western conference leading team last game. I would not rush to judgment based on this.

JT’s progression has been so fast that the expectations are getting higher as well. We’ve been through so many disappointments but the guy is still just 24. Giannis won his first title at 26. I’m not quite ready to bail out on him.

I'm not saying we bail on him. I'm just saying, for me.at least, he's just a very good player, not great until he proves otherwise.

Never know about the Warriors, they could be a #5 seed and still make it to the Finals simply because Curry/Klay/Green and Kerr coaching. The other West teams haven't been impressive these days

Perk loves his hot takes, it stimulates clicks and followers. I'd be more interested in what Grande or Gorman had to say.
