Safe to say we have enough evidence to conclude tatum is a frontrunner.  He has the talent to be what we thought he is, but he is not there yet.

Disagree a 24-year old that took us to the finals last year.
Players don't overreact to one regular season game. Fans on the other hand.....

Yep. Tatum’s not a robot. He’s going to have bad games from time to time. People need to accept it.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

They’ll learn from this. Got to get back to playing D like last year.  No Al and Rob but still can beat the Warriors. Not worried. Best LA(s).

This is a massive overreaction tonight... LOL

How many times do we have to see a big game or series and say "If tatum just showed up how he normally does"?

The Warriors are still.plain better and that isn't going to change barring injury.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

24 yo that has been to how many conference championships....

Age isn't an excuse anymore when a guy has that much playoff experience. He's good player, but he's not the guy.

This is a game in the middle of a long road trip before the holidays as the team has been clearly the best in the league and just thrashed the western conference leading team last game. I would not rush to judgment based on this.

Tough loss, the worse game of the year.  Luckily we play again Tuesday.

If 6.games in the finals wasn't enough to lean from, then Hod have mercy.

Everyone on here is so quick to turn on Tatum it's really sad.

Yeah, maybe.

It's just so frustrating to watch him struggle against this team. I think Tatum is a mentally fragile player at times.
He can't change his basic nature, which is a quiet guy. He really needs a stronger personality to be the team's leader, even while he leads in scoring. A Jimmy Butler type. Marcus doesn't seem to be enough.

However, the weak stuff like hugging up Kyrie after the insult or helping up Green - you just don't do that if you are a competitor.

We don’t deserve to win this.  I can’t understand not being mentally ready to play this game?  The team that took the title right out of our hands and we can’t even give a really good def effort.

In the middle of a road trip? Really?

Yeah I don’t really care that it was during a road trip.  When else are we going to play them at their place?  This game should have been circled on the calendar for months.

Tatum and Joe the big culprits of tonight's loss. A complete folding in the bright lights for Tatum, and Joe showing his inexperience with the refusal to adjust to what the game was dictating.

Several others also had subpar nights, but those two in particular were very, very bad.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

We just going to ignore that the C’s are missing two starters?  ???
