Not the greatest third quarter we’ve had but we’re still in it. We had a lot of self inflicted errors and fundamental mistakes on defense that quarterc much of which arose from missing shots. They started ballwatching when missing shots and we were punished in transition

We have to fix that up and we might have a chance. They’re creating open looks they just haven’t gone down
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

Tatum just awful, awful, awful tonight. What a cowardly showing by our young superstar so far.

And it's not like they're doing anything special on him. Average to slightly above average defenders guarding him with no rim protection. This is all in his head.

Hopefully he can turn it around in the fourth. Otherwise, he'll be hearing about this one for awhile.

Sliding feet into his landing space after the refs gave him two quick bad calls.

Joe's reluctance to call TO's may be fine for the grind of the regular season. In games that matter, you need to use them to stop the opponents momentum - as Kerr has been doing.
He’s going to cost them at some point. Getting outcoached tonight big time. At some point, he’s going to need to make some in game adjustments.

Yes, if he called more timeouts the team would be playing with more energy and would not be shooting 25% from 3pt. If only…
Maybe if he didn’t play drop coverage all the time vs two of the greatest shooters of all time. Cs go on a 5-0 run and Kerr calls a timeout to slow momentum.

Tatum isn't close to mvp. Sorry, but you can't be great and shrink when it matters

My friend still wonders what happened to tatum in the finals. I am starting to think its the pace this golden state team plays with.

This has been a super disappointing game.  We are a step slow the whole game.  We have had a bad def game plan, our MVP level player isn’t being a difference maker.  Curry and Thompson going nuts.  Just hard to watch this one.

Can you be a superstar but not play like one against the Champs?

How do you have the exp he does and shrink like this? He's not tired or hurt like in the playoffs.

This is inexcusable.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

Tatum just disappears vs GS.

Sadly i’ll have to agree. He needs to show up in big games like this if we have championship aspirations.

Boston wanted no part of this game from the jump. Super disappointing how they turtled up tonight. Real step backwards.

The scheme against this team has become frustrating. It’s like they trying to beat them at their own game. C’s used to slow the game down and dictate.

Reality check tonight. Still not ready to beat GS consistently with this defense and timid play vs them.

Rebound Monday and Tuesday in LA

Ya both games are no gimmes. Kawhi may decide to suit up when he wants to. LeBron enjoys playing us tough and AD will put on a 40/20 clinic show.

Celtics test is this west coast trip and so far this game hasn't been promising.

GS playing the same kind of defense the played in the finals. The remedy is making some shots - which like last June hasn't been happening. But tonight is a total cluster----- so far at both ends of the court - and on the bench.

Could be that Tatum doesn't play with urgency and then just like that Warriors are up by ten. Then Tatum tries to launch threes to catch up.

Get at least a split. 4-2 on a grueling road trip would probably be the best you can hope for.
