Grant with a low key good game. 16pts/6rebs in 22mins. Didn’t miss a shot.

Grant helped set the tone!

This is what differentiates the deep bench from the rest of the team…no floor general and no off ball movement. Obviously it’s a minute to go and they’re going thru the motions but still. PP hs more of a shooting guard mentality
It's tricky when 40% of the grouping (Jackson & Vonleh) are both useless off and on-ball
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

We could've scored zero points in the 4th and still won this game

I hope we could replace Jackson with someone with more potential.

This team keeps answering the call. Can’t wait to see Rob back, but I certainly wouldn’t let him come back unless 100% healthy and no risk of re-aggravating the knee.

They look very motivated. Saturday should be fun.

Gary Washburn trying to get Joe to answer a question why JT kept playing till the end of the 3rd and JB the start of the 4th and Joe says "I don't know...I don't know why I did that, I'm still learning that. It's a balance I'm still trying to figure out. Sometimes they want to keep playing so they can work on certain things in a live game situation, or continue to play the right way regardless of the score, sometimes I listen to them, sometimes I don't." At least he's honest  :police:

It would be nice, but I think you could replace him with Elmer Fudd and it wouldn't really make a difference because he would never see the court unless the game is already decided. Once we're talking about the 14 and 15 guys in the lineup if we have to rely on them it means we've been crippled by injuries and have much bigger problems than them  :o

Let's do the same thing next game, this time at Chase Center. Time for some revenge.

Eh.  Nobody played 30 minutes and we have two days off before our next one.  Tonight probably isn’t the night I’m going in on the coach for overplaying guys.

I think youre right but I also feel like Id rather have the spot be given to a project. Not really concerned much esp since I dunno how jackson is behind the scene, for all we know he has a role in the locker or practice and does it well.

The problem with giving it to a project is thst if he only plays in blowouts  and not even all the time then, how much good is that doing him. Nesmith was at the end of the bench for us for a couple of years and he didn’t develop at all. Personally I would prefer projects to be on two ways where they can get time, and then improve, like Hauser was, nd how he’s getting enough time to earn his keep.

In a number of ways I like end of bench players that are either vets or known commodities, because they know enough to plug holes and use up minutes but are already at a ceiling of sorts so if they sit on the bench night after night it’s not retarding their growth. End of day it’s a vet min spot. Like Blake, Noah and even Jackson.
