OK half because of the way we closed. But the offense really looks a lot more like last year's than this year's. Tatum and Brogdon, especially, holding the ball for a long, long time before any kind of action starts. The first pass or move was around 10-12 seconds left on the clock a whole lot. If we play like that we're just less effective.
Trying to understand it. I want to think they're saving energy because they have to play tomorrow. But I think probably not. Looked like they were going iso to hunt mismatches, and when the Nets only have to help/recover once they're capable enough. They may also be missing Marcus Smart, who likes to play with pace and lets Tatum play off the ball more.
