Tatum particularly sloppy tonight. The Nets packing the paint seems to be giving him trouble. He should use his mid-range game.

Good call.

It got him going!

Don't look now, but we closed out a half properly. Remember when that would never happen?

Nice to see JT bounce back from a poor start. Too bad he missed that bunny to end the half.

Horford with 0 points but he's played some good defense.  Great minutes from Brogdon.

Little less off ball movement than we are used to seeing...but offense still strong. 62 pt half

OK half because of the way we closed. But the offense really looks a lot more like last year's than this year's. Tatum and Brogdon, especially, holding the ball for a long, long time before any kind of action starts. The first pass or move was around 10-12 seconds left on the clock a whole lot. If we play like that we're just less effective.

Trying to understand it. I want to think they're saving energy because they have to play tomorrow. But I think probably not. Looked like they were going iso to hunt mismatches, and when the Nets only have to help/recover once they're capable enough. They may also be missing Marcus Smart, who likes to play with pace and lets Tatum play off the ball more.

Fair enough. But I'm spoiled. I want at least 70.  8)

I think the lack of ball movement is a result of Smart being out.

This is the worst they’ve looked in a while. Only playing team ball in spurts.

Ugly quarter.  Fortunate to still have a decent lead.

Tatum hasn’t adjusted to Claxton. If he takes forever to get to the rim Claxton will be waiting.
