Celts now with best record, point differential, points per game and offensive rating in the league. And I bet they're #1 in a host of other stats too.

That White-Pritchard-Hauser-Grant-Kornet lineup was surprisingly effective. Kornet is a solid screener for White, who has great vision. He also has three excellent shooters around him.

On the other side, Kornet does a good job for a 3rd string big man on pick-and-roll defense and helpside defense around the rim. He has NBA skills there. Opposing big men tend to get a lot of offensive rebounds when he's on the court. That's why Kornet is not really a guy you want to play important minutes for you. But all you want is a guy with a legit NBA skill for your 5-6th big man. Kornet is that.

he does a good job corralling boards underneath. I think the problem is with his lack of agility and hops, when the ball bounces a bit further he has trouble getting to it.

When healthy this team will be unbeatable.
It’s a nice dream. But these Celtics will never been healthy. I think I’ve felt that way for the last 5 years.

Only 5? We've had major injuries ever since we fired the original Lucky the Leprechaun and KG blew out his knee.

Even this understates how incredible our offence has been: we're 7-8 points above league average, which is some of the best relative marks ever. Incredible how having an actual coach unlocks the potential of a team

Well you probably missed it because you disappeared right as the team started playing well last year but from February we were averaging 115+ppg last year, and conceding around 100ppg, demolishing teams when we went 24-6 to end the season. So this year is just a continuation of our form last year. Full credit to Joe for learning from Ime. We wanted to celebrate with you but as Boston started to win you were nowhere to be found  :-\ I thought you might have been watching Mourinho and Roma play catenaccio and parking the bus as they ended up finishing sixth in Serie A

And we were utter crap at the same point last season, Mazzulla is doing an incredible job right now for a core that usually starts off slow. Full credit to Joe for carrying Uchoka after the latter realised that his passionball was crap and he had great minds behind him in Joe and Hardy

But I did watch some Roma when the place I live was hit by another wave of COVID (difficult to feel like going online when your entire family is isolated somewhere else coughing their lungs out), Mourinho won a competition unlike Uchoka!

Last night was easily his best game. I hope it’s a sign of things to come but not totally convinced yet.

This was a really good win with Smart and Brogdon injured.

Saw that JD had a little PT last night, although, brief.  He was 0-2 with a turnover.  But for Maine this year, he's off to a pretty good start.  According to the Globe, he's "averaging 15.8 points, 6.3 assists and 6 rebounds per game for Maine, helping the team to a 4-0 start."  Think I'm going to have to get up there for a game.

I was excited when we drafted him (as excited as a second-round pick can be) but think he could develop.  Five-star recruit; Rivals had him 14th ranked overall and the #2 PG while ESPN had him 15th overall and 3rd PG and 24/7 had him 13th overall and 3rd PG.

Didn't see any of the game, going by the Box Score and the comments here.  But what a game by Hauser, Pritchard, and Kornet.  Think about how if we had Gallinari and RWill and everyone else healthy, these 3 would be 10th, 11th, and 12th on the roster.  For this game, due to injuries, they get pushed up to be the 6th, 7th, and 8th players and play like they belong in the rotation.  It is really amazing.

Pritchard has shown this in the past, not a huge surprise but still a great game.  Hauser has simply come out of nowhere and Kornet was completely written off as useless by me and most others.
