I think you are right.

Could be argued to be our best game all year.

Played like crap all game long, yet we did enough to win in the end. That's the mark of a good team.

(That being said, we really got to stop the "flip the switch" mentality with some of these teams.)

This team can beat you in a lot of ways. Tonight Smart steps up.
This game had 'L' stamped on it almost from the start, but they ramped it up the D in the 4Q and Smart made the big plays. They were excellent down the stretch.

This was a great win.

Smart and White made a big difference tonight.

Im not sure about the complaints about white this game, I saw him push the pace and also agressive on D with ball pressure that resulted in steals. IMHO was a victim of a couple of bad calls.

White not only didn’t deserve complaints, he was terrific and Cs don’t win without him tonight.
There's people on this board that hated the trade and take every chance they can to trash White, regardless of how good he plays.

People on this board make definitive negative statements about our players and then when the players prove them wrong, the posters, instead of admitting they were wrong, troll on those players.

You see the same thing with players like Brown, Grant and Kornet.

I thought White was great tonight. Got 2 or 3 really questionable calls and still had a strong game.
Have no idea what he was thinking when he grabbed the rim, but besides that, he was terrific

Yup, I love wins where we shoot less than 30% from 3...though I agree they didn't really lift their intensity till halfway thru the third when PP ignited them. Then they woke up defensively, started pressing OKC to stop them running, got a few turnovers...then Smartacus took over in the 4th with some typically Smartesque plays \

Smartacus being interviewed, saying "this time last season we would have lost this game, it's good to see us fix things"
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

Lots of guys stepped up tonight, PP was a spark, White with tough def to turn the tide, Smart obviously was incredible.  These are the kinds of wins that you can build from.  TP’s all around.

I don't think there is a dud on this roster. A full squad of hard playing team guys!

Team just finds a way to win. 11-3 under coach Mazz. Let’s go!

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

amazing and entertaining game.

the most amazing part may have been Al's defense on SGA in the half court. he just shut him down.

Whew. stressful games are hard to watch, but fun to win. ;D
And Tatum's double teams to help Al were perfectly timed every time SGA drove and spun.

This team is special.

Really is. We've played every game without our DPOY-candidate center who is vital to our defense, and we've had multiple games without several other starters or rotation-level bigs.

Further, of the three losses two of them were OT losses that likely would not have been if Timelord was healthy, and the other was a game we were up big in before losing.

We may be first in the East again after tonight with Milwaukee losing big to Atlanta. Shaping up to be a really fun Christmas Day schedule.

If the Hawks-Bucks score holds the Celtics will have the best record in the NBA.
