Celtics/Hawks.

Not sure about the NBA TV slotting, but I appreciate the 7pm start times instead of 7:30, since playoff games tend to run long.

Even better when you live in Chicago.  Central time zone, baby!  ;)

Can JJJ play AD to a stand-still?

AD is a more complete offensive player and superior rebounder but JJJ plays better offensively at center than he does next to S Adams or B Clarke so I expect more out of JJJ than normal offensively. Defensively, both are awesome.

AD could still have the advantage with his rebounding if he attacked JJJ on the boards relentlessly but that is not AD's style. He likes to out-skill players more than out-work opponents.

JJJ last 20 games (Apr & Mar) has seen him average 22.8ppg on 53% FG% with 37% from three and 79% on 7 FTs per game. Efficient.

Lol there's A LOT of people around social media complaining about the C's being on NBATV Tuesday. I guess they prefer CLE-NY over BOS-ATL on TNT. I don't really mind, but clearly others do

It's all about the foul trouble with JJJ. He's a very foul-prone player at the best of times, and has gotten 5 fouls in each of his last 3 games against LA.

The difference between a 7 and 7:30 start enabled me to go to the game, so I’m personally a fan.

Lakers won in OT at home against a depleted T team lol..Memphis hopefully sweep them

Other than the fact that several of the western conference teams are flawed in some way I don't understand the excitement for the lakers.
They have 2 top 10 players when healthy.  That almost always does well in the playoffs.

They do not have two top ten players when healthy. This has gotten ridiculous. Even when both have played the last years they have been barely above .500. That just doesn’t happen with two top 10 players.

Also we are trying to say they are both better than

Giannis
Embid
Jokic
Durant
Tatum
SGA
Doncic
Booker
Curry
Morant

Lebron doesn’t even attempt to play defense…
Lebron can play defense and did so yesterday.  He made an excellent hustle play to get to the loose ball when it looked like Pierce(?) was going to have a steal and layup.

Of those you list, I'd have Giannis, Embiid, Jokic, Durant, Tatum and Curry ahead of Lebron.  Not sure about SGA, Doncic and Booker.  I'd have Lebron ahead of Morant.  Don't understand the love for Morant.  He's a poor defender and not a good shooter.  Last season, the Grizz were arguably better with Morant off court.  If all the playoff teams lost their top star player, the Grizz would probably be the least affected.

Think I’d prefer Toronto winning this game and facing Miami.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

You seriously think Lebron hasn’t been awful at defense this year?

This is the kind of play in game that doesn’t need to happen.
