Tough interception by Rodgers in a clutch situation. Let’s see if Detroit can run this down to make the playoffs.

I think one of Rodgers/Brady ends up in SF.

WOW!!! Lions beat the Packers and so the Seahawks get the 7 seed

Another choke by Rodgers and the Packers lol

Too bad the Lions aren’t going to the playoffs but they had an awesome year and a lot to look forward too. Fun team with a fun coach

Is there any chance Lamar can sign a deal before this game on Sunday? I can see him running around while hurt if he has the long term security that he wanted.

Unfortunately, they can't because the Seahawks won earlier today. But they did help the Seahawks get in by beating GreenBay.

At least we don't need to hear about Aaron Rodgers being "the goat"...another choke in Lambeau Field. At least this time it's at season's end rather than the playoffs for him  ;D

NFL Black Monday (or Sunday Night) begins as Lovie Smith has been fired by the Texans for another losing season. Tho nice to see him hooking up with his old team that #1 pick.

Houston been playing great lately & wasnt Lovie fault he inherited a bad team to begin with

I think Arizona will fire Kingsbury
Hopefully Carolina keeps Wilks but I doubt it
Wouldn’t be surprise if Washington fire Rivera

I agree.  None are "must see TV".  I'm looking forward to Bills-Dolphins (if Tua is right), Chargers-Jags, and Cowboys-Bucs.

Sounds like Tua isn't going to play and Bridgewater may not either.

It does appear that Lamar is going to be back for Baltimore, which makes that a far more interesting game. Allegedly, he would have played week 18 had it been a playoff game (or a win and you are in type game).  Because Baltimore was in already, they basically just gave the game up and decided to rest anyone that was banged up even a little bit (i.e. Lamar, Dobbins, Andrews) and look for the rematch the following week.  Lamar could obviously suffer a set back and not go, but if he plays that should be a fairly interesting game given Baltimore did beat Cincinnati earlier in the year with Lamar.

The Giants and Vikings was a great game when they played a few weeks back.  Not one of those big name QB games, but it should be a pretty solid and entertaining game based on the one they played a few weeks ago.

I do want to see the Herbert/Lawrence match-up as well.  2 of the brightest rising QB stars going head to head.  That has some intrigue.

Also, curious to see if Brady can knock out the Cowboys.  Kind of game I wish could end in a tie, but it is at least fascinating.

There are certainly a couple of blah games on paper, but sometimes those end up the most interesting.

Thank you, Texans.  What a final drive.  Bears get #1.

If I’m the Bears, I’m keeping Fields and trading the #1 pick for treasure trove of picks.  Bears also have about 100 million of cap space in the off season.  Organization can potentially turn themselves around real fast.

Of course, you still have the McCaskeys to screw things up.

I think the dream scenario for me:

Trade #1:  Bears trade #1 overall; Texans trade #2 overall + other compensation
Trade #2:  Bears trade #2 overall; Colts trade #4 overall + other compensation

After the Texans and Colts take QBs, the Cardinals draft Will Anderson and the Bears draft Jalen Carter at #4.

Good moves, though I’ve heard that Carter isn’t a slam dunk. Multiple draft rumor sites say that he doesn’t love football. I usually scoff at such statements. We will see tonight how dominant he is.

I wouldn’t take a QB either. Fields needs an intensive QB camp (or 10 of them). He is athletic but needs a lot of work.
