So the AFC side looks set:

(2)Bills vs. (7)Dolphins
(3)Bengals vs. (6)Ravens
(4)Jaguars vs. (5)Chargers

NFC still TBD but it looks like PHI will win so they'll be the 1 seed, and all that'll be left to determine is the 7 seed there (Seahawks, Lions, or Packers). And if SF loses this evening, they'll be 3 seed and MIN 2 seed, but we'll see. For now it's still SF 2, MIN 3.

I will say, if the Dolphins QB next week is Skylar Thompson again, then it's almost like BUF has an actual bye week  :P

Tua is coming back next week according to the Phinsiders

There’s a few playoff teams I’ll root against - Miami, Baltimore, GIants, GB or Seattle if either get in, TB.

But the only team I could get excited about is the Lions. Hope they beat GB, Seattle loses, and Lions go on an improbable run.

Hope the Lions get in too, that would be interesting.

But I'm pulling for Brady to win his 8th...may sound improbable with the current circumstances. Otherwise, Bengals seeking to exorcise some demons from last year and I'd like for them to take it, esp after that shaft job by the league.

We got Matt Patricia dumb, Josh McDaniels dumb, Todd Bowles dumb, but how about Brandon Staley...playing his starters and I think 3 or 4 of their main guys got hurt including Mike Williams getting carted off. The Jaguars would love to thank Staley for this next week.

Lawrence versus Herbert is going to be a lot of fun.  Looking forward to that and not just saying that because of my preseason Chargers bet (what a roller coaster ride that has been) ;)

especially since the game was meaningless once the Ravens lost earlier in the day.

He’s such a terrible coach.  Now that Hackett is gone, he might be the most infuriating.

Even though the Bucs are a mediocre team (8-9 record), I fully expect Brady and the Bucs to beat the Cowboys next week at home. Cowboys over the past month have been really meh and Prescott has been awful too. Even today Prescott went 14/37 for 128 yards and an INT (yikes).

Idk what happened... I thought the Cowboys were a contender along with the group of SF, PHI, KC, CIN, BUF. But not anymore

So Justin Houston got a sack today, which gave him 10, which paid him a 500k bonus, but the official ruling ended up as a half sack, so he ended up with 9.5 sacks and no bonus.

Should the team pay him the bonus or do you go with the official stats?

they lost to Washington.  that alone should call into question any thoughts they were contenders

They pretty much knew at halftime the game didn't matter though.  They were losing at half time, but it doesn't appear they tried all that hard in the 2nd half either.

I’d pay him as good gesture.  As a player, that’s a rough way to lose out on an incentive.

I don’t know the NFL rules, but I don’t think you’d be allowed to under NBA rules.

At this point, it would make news and be a 500k marketing move for  the team. If it helps to attract one potential player down the road, it’s worth it. It’s also worth it if you’re looking for future production from Houston.
