If you wanted to get the draft picks of the worst run organizations in the NBA, who would you target?

Minnesota, Knicks, Cleveland, and maybe Orlando.

Ainge, you cheeky business man.
Cleveland has been much better the last decade (basically since they hired Griffin - who I get isn't there anymore, but they are still better).  They also have a very young and talented team that had a pretty good record last year and should now be in the upper part of the conference going forward for awhile.

Sacramento has been terribly run.  The Lakers have as well, but the Lakers are a separate beast given they are in L.A.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Absolutely! And playing Knicks vs Cavs is brilliant! Cannot wait to see his picks over the next ten years!

I will be very surprised if this doesn't turn into at least two top 10 picks for the Jazz down the line, and more likely 3+.

Who's to say we can't? The deadline also isn't so far away.

Will be interesting to see how all these far in the future picks pan out. For a while it seemed teams were a bit gun shy of including them after our trade with the nets. However now they are flying around like they are worthless. We already saw the lakers send a very unexpected lottery pick to the pelicans this past draft.

The Cavs will really test the how far can you go with a real lot of very good players but no superstar theory. It is possible garland or Mobley become a superstar, I personally don’t consider Mitchell one. I like this team building model more than two great players and a ton of scrubs.

Do you think they finish in the top 4 in the East?

I like Mitchell but I think he walks in three years, and most of those picks will come after he’s gone.

I think that the Celtics, Bucks, Heat, 76ers, Raps, Bulls, Nets, and Hawks are all still better than The Cavs.

From a middle of the pack team like Cleveland, that's a haul.
I'm not sure how good that will be.  The Cavs are very young and should now be an upper echelon team for the entire 5 years of those picks.  No one wanted Sexton so I'm not sure his value, though he is obviously a talented scorer if he reverts back to form.  He is basically a lesser version of Mitchell.  Markkanen is what he is at this point and Agbaji is a mid-round draft pick.  Presumably Utah is going to be worse than Cleveland, so the question really is, are any of the 3 draft picks going to be any good.  I'd bet that none are lottery picks unless they are really far into the future.  The years on those will be important.

Its a gigantic haul. Ainge got what he wanted. Utah, Oklahoma And New Orleans own a huge share of the draft for the next several years

That being said, Cleveland was in a position where they had a lot of marginally performing assets that amounted to a gigantic haul, and had positioned themselves with the means to be a very, very good team. If Brooklyn fails to put it all together, they will probably be the third best in the east this year with a very young roster that will only improve going forward.

The fit here is pretty great.
