Okay we need a Matt Ryan thread. He dribbles the ball, hits game winners, and immediately recovers from injuries.

That's like Paul Pierce!

 ;)

I hope these refs aren't getting paid for this...

Anyone else noticed the refs all have the same haircut?

Like cops do too?

I’m not sure if I’d feel comfortable with them working as cops.  Maybe, the new Three Stooges,

Matt Ryan’s shot was a prayer answered but I give him credit for demanding ball at the end. I like his makeup.

what a mess of a game by these officials.  how can they screw up bad enough to change the score twice?
I’ve never seen that happen in a pro game.  It was 103-101 then changed to 104-100 so Bucks had a 2-possession lead.  Then at the end they undid that score change giving the C’s the 1 point lead back. That saved JD from being a goat for missing one of 2 free throws that could have tied it up.  Crazy indeed.

Guys, that’s hurtful and insensitive. He could read this thread and be very upset by it. Let’s take a moment to consider his feelings.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

tonight's takeaways:
- Kabengele looked really good.  strong case for making the team as a deep roster player
- Begarin and Davison showed some flashes but need serious work.  2-way players right now at best
- Hauser - looked better than last game but not enough to explain the contract he got
- Ryan - if Hauser didn't have a contract already, he might have had a shot at making the team
- Williams - liked his passing but D needs work and needs improvement with his scoring
the rest are clearly filler

I'm becoming a pretty big fan of the way Begarin plays.

The Bucks could have had a lineup of Mamukelashvili + Antetokounmpo + Jesusemilore Talodabijesu Ojeleye

Is that one guy?

Need to rename them like

BoB
Tom
Frank
George

He's fun.  Davison is too IMHO.  Neither are NBA rotation-caliber players at this point but both have tools and instincts to dream on.  Maybe we get lucky with one of them.

Great game. Not a ton of D but the shots were all going in, so very entertaining. Ryan's got a quick release on his shot a la Curry. Intriguing player though he was struggling defensively. Begarin certainly has potential - he's athletic enough and looks like he'd fit right in with the defensive mindset of the C's. I would imagine that he returns to Europe for one more season though. Kabengele I thought was excellent. He was the C's best player.

Hauser played well, though he only played 17 minutes. Davison did some nice things, struggled at times, he certainly did nothing to stand out.  Thomas I thought had a very good game.

He is 100% an NBA athlete. Whether his skills develop to an acceptable level is obviously unknown, but he has got the tools

Kabengele is an inside banger, which we lack. Ryan can shoot and impresses me with his grit. They look like deep bench possibilities to me with 3-4 open roster slots.

The officials screwed up royally with the score.
