What is the Last TV Series You Watched?

I am watching the Penguin on HBO for the first time.  How did I miss this gem.  Who knew Colin Ferrell could act?

I know I am behind.

Anybody watch the Cape Fear series?  Some of the changed plot points were a bit out there, but Javier Bardem was super-creepy, right up there with De Niro from the 90s movie version.

Bardem is such an underrated actor. His performance in No Country for Old Men was incredible.

Yes he was great in No Country... but that's a movie I enjoyed (sick as it was) watching, but afterward couldn't come away thinking it was a great movie.  But he was good.

Our occasional pirated sign in for Hulu returned (some kid my daughter went to middle school with like ten years ago?s account).  I took the opportunity to finish up The Bear.  Oofff?that last season was, dare I say, unbearable.  I watched it out of obligation to finish what I?d started but boy, the combo of over intensified restaurant minutia and super sappy sentimentality was not a good mix.  Oh well.  The series definitely had some memorable moneys and characters, but they smiled in the last season.

Just caught up with House of Dragons.  The last few episodes weee as good as anything the GOT franchise have domes. As a whole, Dragons series has done a much better job of keeping the story tight and advancing it.  Good stuff.

I didn't care for the first few episodes of the last season of the Bear.  I thought it was too depressing.  But, I enjoyed it toward the end.  It maybe wasn't the resolution for Carmen that I would have liked, but I guess it ended okay for most characters.

I agree on this season of HOTD.  I don't think it quite meets the heights of the peak of GOT, but it's definitely kept my interest.  It shows that with good source material the showrunners put out a good product, even if it's not a word for word adaption.  Without that source material, though, you get abominations like the last two seasons of GOT.

caught the first episode of the new season of Reacher.  enjoyed it thoroughly.  more humor than I recall in other seasons.  Snap, Crackle and Pop killed me and my wife

Started watching Daredevil last week. Saw only the first season years ago and it was excellent.

I broke down and got Apple TV maybe a month ago.  My wife and I just finished watching Widow's Bay.  Fun cast of characters and a light hearted folk lore horrow type story that worked well. 

Pecking away at Silo too.  I read the series years ago.  Definitely a good visualization.
