I haven't read the underlying material, but I am really liking A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.  My only complaint so far is that I wish the episodes were a little longer, which isn't really a complaint at all.  We've seen the epic nature of Westeros; in this show, it's nice to see a "small" story with likeable characters.

I am also enjoying Seven Kingdoms....I like the kid.
I like it as well.  I find Ser Dunk and the kid likable characters and the 'royals' to be jerks for the most part.  My wife had been looking forward to the series but was turned off by the initial episode's "bathroom" scene as well as the beginning of the second episode.  too much shock value for her liking which I get.  Episode 3 continued along the same theme with yet something else shown relieving themselves.  That's something I really hope they realize they can do without.

If it is like the book there will be some decent nobles ( No names), not to be a spoiler.
