Really liked Dept Q and looking forward to season two.

I was a little lost in the middle of season one, but the last three episodes cleared the confusion.

I?m watching Alien : Earth. I like that it?s not just a horror jump scare thing. They?re at least attempting to tell an interesting story But after the 4th episode you know exactly what they?re doing.

I thought the first episode was slow, but it picks up after that. Haven?t seen 4 yet, but I?m enjoying the show so far.

I'm digging the show.  From the stuff I've read, it's supposed to really pick up on the back half of the season.   You can tell Hawley respects the franchise.  I do like the retro-future aesthetics we're seeing.  Builds off of what we saw in Alien Romulus.   The introduction of new species is great.  Interesting to see what some of these other aliens do.  I do find the hybrids a bit annoying.  I know what they're trying to illustrate with them but the childish stuff still gets a tad grating.

I really hope they open up the Kirsh character. So much potential there and Olyphant is just a bad@ss in almost any role he does.

Agreed. What do you think of Wendy and the boy genius?

Wendy is a little annoying right now.  Not sure I'm going to dig this whole "communication with the xenomorph" thing although I'm sure they'll be a juicy backstory behind it.

Boy Kavalier is a great character.  He's headed to what is almost surely going to be a bad & painful comeuppance.

I hope they have a decent t explanation behind why she can ?communicate ?with them but if you think about it you can guess where this is going.
I do enjoy that they have different aliens. I think that was a cool idea. I agree Olyphant is great in everything really. I hope to see some interesting stuff from him.

I'm curious to see how long the anticipated story arc is.  Are they going to give the storyline multiple seasons, or is it going to try to have each season self-contained?

I was pretty nervous about the show after that costume party scene.  It just didn't seem to fit into the universe for me.  But, it's found its footing since.

Good question. For some reason I never considered a 2nd season ( I don?t know why) but they?re always looking to make money so we will see.
I love seeing Blade Runner connections but I?m not sure we will see too much more of that.

That eyeball thing is awesome.  And *** spoilers *** seeing its hostility toward the Xenomorph was great.

Last night's Maginot flashback episode was incredible.  Best episode of the season.

Basically a mini-Alien movie that filled in some plot gaps.   Also showed just the utter incompetence of nearly the entire Maginot crew.

just saw Butterfly as well.  not bad.  definitely set up for an intriguing second season assuming it's not cancelled.

getting through season 3 of Squid Games.  2 episodes to go.  hoping the ending is as good as the rest of the show has been.
