This will be last post for a bit, though I will check responses to the thread. This series result upset me more than anything since the series we blew the 3-2 lead against the heat. (And it was more upsetting by a substantial margin). Really thought we should win and really wanted these guys to win it cause they are the last group of guys my deceased dad got chance to watch with me. I know everyone is upset, but wondering how others are handling it. Peace and love to all.

Sorry it’s hitting you hard.  While I’m definitely disappointed in the outcome, it’s been a rough few years and this season made me feel normal for the first time in awhile, so I’m glad I got two extra months of it.

Doesn’t hurt nearly as bad as 2010. I still am not over that one.

The run to the finals was great. Sad they didn’t win it all but for once I am excited about the next season instead of filled with just hoping they might be good. I feel confident that they are going to the the best team in the east.

I feel like I should take a break, but these guys are like a bad addiction I have a hard time getting away from.

Not that anyone in the organization cares, or any of my fellow fans even, but what I'd like to do is not go near anything Celtics-related for the whole summer. These last three games have left a disgusting taste in my mouth, and I really am not interested in what anyone from the Cs organization has to say (about this season or the future).

I hate the result but am excited for what’s to come.  These guys get better by being where they’ve been the last couple months.

I went into the season thinking it was another gap year when we had to trade away Kemba and a 1st for Al, and picked up Richardson and a last second Schroeder.  Brad and Udoka were transitioning as well and I had relatively lower expectations.  My expectations were blown away from Jan. to now.  It’s unfortunate how Tatum slowed down as the playoffs went on, whether it’s fatigue, defenses fully focussing on him, injuries or youth but this is how it works.

To feel completely disappointed, I think is selfish and I think we should feel lucky with the results. I think ownership will take them more seriously now and we’ll continue to build for longevity and to try and follow in the footsteps of the Spurs and Warriors to be a dynasty that lasts when we enter the luxury tax zone next year.

As disappointing as it is, we should be proud of these guys because they deserve that at the very least.

So sorry this is hitting hard. This one has been easier to take for me I guess because it was unexpected. I do think this represents a beginning rather than an ending.  It’s tough to get back to the finals but this team will be in the mix over the coming  years and that’s something to look forward to.  Also late run means short off-season. I think Brad will be active and before you know it we’ll be looking at training camp.

I would be taking a break if the C’s had lost to Miami, but honestly, after squeaking out of that series and the one before, I didn’t feel great about their chances against the Warriors in the Finals. It’s disappointing, but at the same time they finally got out of the ECF and were one of the two best teams left in the NBA. A lot went right this season and hopefully they can build on that.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I was prepared for this mentally.  I’m still invested with this team.  I hope Wyc and Pags are, too!

2010 really hurt.  Stuck with me for a while.

This one makes me angry (which probably means I have anger issues), because I feel like we beat ourselves with the turnovers and inconsistent energy.

Sorry, Clay 😢

A break is well-deserved and many will take. I’m still processing losing three in a row. I got the anger out of my system quickly last night. I’m starting to be at peace. It helps me to tell myself that we lost to a dynasty, but we are the next dynasty that’s got one more hurdle before the dynasty begins (and my ultimate dream is a rematch next year where we dethrone them). Tatum is going nowhere and the best may be around the corner.

It hurts, but the best medicine for me is to focus on what moves we can make this off-season to get us two more playoff wins.

I must confess I turned it off with 45 seconds to go and am taking a break from ESPN until the draft because I don’t want to see any Warriors celebration or smoke blowing.

I've never bothered watching any recaps of Game 7 2010. After the Lakers secured that rebound and tossed the ball across the court with like 3 seconds to go, I just shut off my TV. Didn't even bother watching the confetti fall. Why would I watch the Lakers hoist a trophy after triumphing over the Celtics.

Same thing last night. But it was because I haven't seen the Celtics in the Finals in 12 years. I watched till the final buzzer despite them throwing in the benchwarmers and then turned off the TV. I don't want to watch the opposing team celebrate their championship esp on our home floor. Embarrassing. So no, any Celtics Finals elimination nor playoff eliminations I don't watch. Nor any Patriots Superbowl eliminations for that matter. I only watch my teams win and celebrating.

Will still be around the forum.

I shut it off right afterward myself. When does summer league start?
