This team didn't spend on the bench last year because wyd said they "weren't a championship team" in hindsight that killed them.

Biggest difference in this series was GS had guys like Poole and Wiggins step up and Celtics had....no one. They doubled up Tatum and that was it offense was dead. Prichard, grant and Williams turned back into a pumpkin

We need to build a solid bench next year with shooting. Spend the MLE. Get roleplayers who can score.

Develop your bench during the year. It's better if you have better players but you can develop what you have. You can't win a championship with 5 guys. The 80s Celtics couldn't do it with 4 Hall of Famers in the starting 5. You need to at least be able to play everyone on your bench during the regular season and at least 10 in the playoffs. Get to work Ime!

We need to add space to our offense. We were running into each other all night.

I kind of blame Wyc. He went on the radio in January and said he wasn't spending because it's not a championship team yet. Apparently it was...and he left us with no bench

Our bench in this game made two shots. Probably needs to be better.

Wyc's been cheaping out for 10 years now talking about how he'll spend when we are ready. That time was now.

Wyc treating the Celtics like they are a small market team is unacceptable. You buy the flagship franchise in the nba you put every dollar you can in them. If not, sell them.

He didn’t commit in January and the fact Brad got them this far on a BS budget is a miracle.

And they have 4 titles in 6 finals. Pay it Wyc. You can easily afford it.

Don’t worry: we’ll surely win it all with Wyc next year or a tech titan somewhere (Bezos? Musk?) will throw $4-6 billion at Wyc and Co. to own the Celtics. This franchise is legendary and red-hot. If they’re thinking about the luxury tax, they’re complete schmucks now. These Finals against the Warriors have us back at the zenith of the NBA. The luxury tax is history for us. We’re in the Lakers/Warriors territory with or without Wyc soon. The best thing about these Finals is that every tech titan in Silicon Valley is hearing about the Warriors doing it again, and one of those tech titans may get the idea to throw a few bil at the Celtics to rule the NBA.

Tatum had one basket in the second half. ONE! Don't forget to mention that.
