It shouldn't be tied that's the problem. It's one thing to get a team's best effort and lose. It's another to consistently play dumb basketball and come up small when a championship stranglehold is on the line.

we did not have HCA. with HCA we have to win ZERO road games like we did with the bucks in 2018. remember that? we won 4 at home. without HCA all we need was one on road. we had it. now we need more. as usual

we should not have needed two at bucks this year or GOD forbid 3 at miami. we were skating on thin ice there. expecting to win 2 or 3 on road constantly is nuts.

win at home and all that road pressure is gone. our luck is we win game 5. choke game 6 then lose in 7

Was it really their defense?  I thought it was their offense that did them in.  Even in the first I was discouraged they were only up by seven because Golden State was missing a lot.  I kept saying they need to get some separation.

Then all the threes in the fourth.  I just wanted them to take it to the basket as the bigger team.

I don't know if I blame Curry's explosion on bad defense.  He's just a great player.

I would agree with this.  Could they have defended Curry better? Sure.  But a lot the shots he hit were tough shots.  He just so happens to be the best shooter of all time.  The team still only scored 107, even with his explosion.  It came down to the Celtics settling for 3’s down the stretch and not being able to hit.  Their superstar performed and ours didn’t.

There were two 4-point play calls that weren't called for Curry, the phantom calls on Draymond, the non-travel call on Pritchard that triggered Kerr a technical foul...C's had the slight FT advantage but didn't even cap on them.

Eh, the one Curry foul and Pritchard travel amounted to a total of 2 points for us. That equates to just one non-call for Tatum going to the rim.

I get that those two plays were more obvious than others, but GS bases their entire offense on moving screens. Payton II literally just walked into Grant on the dagger Steph 3 from the corner.

Also, Pritchard was fouled, traveled as a result of losing his balance from the first (uncalled) foul, and then was fouled again.  The correct call should have been a non-shooting foul prior to the travel.
