This team just struggles when it’s a close game in the final 5 minutes.

97-94 lead tonight, give up a 17-6 run to end in the final 4:30

Game 3 this series, C’s down 93-92 after Jaylen’s 3 and then MIA scores 7 straight to ice it

Even last series Game 5, C’s go up 105-99 with 90 seconds to go, and MIL ends on a 11-2 run

Just never easy for the C’s…….

Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett would have never let those 3 games slip away guaranteed.

PP and KG would not have blown game 7 at home in 2018

we may have blown a 3-2  lead in 2012 but we made LEBRON a nd the heat beat us in ga,e 6 and 7
we gave them nothing. heat earned it

this team??  gives away games like they are goodwill and salvation army combined

infuriating

  • GOT IT!!!
What does Draymond saying that matter? He probably legit believed that because his team wouldn't lose a game on silver platter like tonight. Everyone in the league figured the C's would take care of business.

If Ime could've just put Timelord in, that might have helped the situation A LOT and probably flipped the outcome. Timelord was already on the sideline ready to go in.

But what gives. What was Smart still doing in the game. Grant was also a no-show. TL went back to his seat. Yikes. Atrocious.

Stop equating this team to the 2018 one, they are completely different - just like 2012 was not 2008.

In 2008 we had to go through two game 7s before making the Finals.

The Celtics entire organization should be dissolved if we blow this ECF....this is efffing pathetic.

would be 4 ECF losses in 6 years

how many teams would love to have that many chances??

you cannot count on beating the nets or bucks next year

you have to seixe the moment

tomm is not guaranteed

thus why all these failures are taking a toll on all

Multiple occasions too. I miss PP34 and KG. They need to scream and grouch at the J's. At Smart. At least before they left, the C's were down 3-0 against the Knicks, suddenly won two straight and nearly mounted a comeback to tie the series 3-3. I still remember that crazy 20-0 run or something against the Knicks in Game 6.

Marcus Smart almost broke his ankle, then a couple days later he's starting Game 5----Got 2 quick fouls and Ime was forced to play Derrick White---which was Great news for us and we won the game.....Smart should NOT be starting right now with his injury. Ime needs to start White.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

Who cares! This is a completely different team! Pierce and KG haven't been relevant as players for a decade.

This team is yet to lose consecutive games in the playoffs, and it sure won't be starting now.

Just to let you know, it could be worse. Not only did I pay to go to the game tonight but I am also taking the T home. For the past half hour, we have been stuck between Haymarket and Government Center. The train is packed, they turned the A/C off 20 minutes ago and it is so hot that some of the drunk guys are taking their shirts off.

It is a dark day indeed

right. i remember that series well. and technically the heat had a 2-0 lead that series in 2012 as did we in 2018 against cavs

so the heat almost blew it as well. LOL

Heat were 7-45 from 3 in game 5 in a 13 point loss. Today they were 15-35 in an 8 point win. Simple as that.

If they went 15-45 in game 5, which still isn’t good, they win by 11.

Almost every NBA game comes down to 3 point shooting but analysts try to say it’s effort.

Me and my gf were screaming all gane long for more Timelord, White, and PP.

"Funny" story. We were at a packed bar for the game, and on the FT rebound play where Grant got mugged everyone just sort of assumed we had the ball once the commercial break ended.

Boy, was there some confusion and then shouting in the moments that followed.
