TIMELORD changes everything when he's on the floor. He's a total defensive menace! If he can keep playing we got this.

Among the most predictable facts in sports today: If Rob Williams is healthy, he will be hurt soon.

He is so impactful but I think Brad needs to consider options in the off-season.

What could you get that is equal to TIMELORD? On that contract?

Thankfully for you and all Celtics fans, it's not my job to determine fair compensation.  I just think Brad needs to consider his options -- which of course he will (and may determine trading him isn't worth it).  If Rob is a perennial injury waiting to happen, that is a factor in his value.  Is 80% of Rob actually playing better than Rob himself in street clothes?

This is where I stand as well. Not sure whether we can find fair value though. First names that come to mind are Siakam and Ayton. The Raps desperately need a starting Center. Ideally, someone who fits the time window of their young core. The Suns were reluctant to extend Ayton in October, plus they have a cheap owner. Perhaps they are willing to swap Ayton for Timelord+filler(s).

Don't get me wrong, I like our current team a lot. Just saying I'd be open to the idea if we could get fair value. Btw, I'm starting to sour on Ayton. He's effective in a drop scheme on defense. Don't think he'd be a good fit in our switch-heavy defensive system.

Anyway, we are in the ECF! Trade opportunities can wait. Beat the Heat!

He did…and then decided to sign Rob to a bargain contract as he is injury prone.  :)

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I've been saying that we do need to look for either a starting center who isn't injury prone or a back up. Tatum is  abig Rob fan, don't know if you can move him. We do have that 17 mill to spend.

I don't know how Mo Bamba is over all, his numbers look good on a bad team, can shoot the 3 a bit, but rebounds and blocks shots. Sounds like he's leaving.

But we definatly need to get a big or two this off season, need to start thinking of Horfords replacement, and a solid back up wing.

I know one of Mo's teammates. Says he is a great guy but has no chance to be great. I gathered it was work ethic related.

If we don’t go all the way this year, would a TL+DW for Ayton sign and trade be doable? And if so, how would Ayton fare with our defensive schemes? I like Ayton but he just seems like a low motor guy with a huge upside if he gets his act together.
