Getting in on 46 games seems a bit weird for Draymond.
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

Be cool if next year's biggest competition for Smart's DPOY is Timelord! And both on the 1st team All-Defense while on their way to being back to back champions.

So each of Tatum, Brown and Horford got 1st team All-Defense votes.

Wonder if one voter's 1st team was Smart, Brown, Tatum, Horford, R.Williams?

Well deserved for both.

Also, for those who still concoct dreams of trading Time Lord, his cap hit for trade purposes went up, as his bonus for All-Defense will now be considered likely.  (It doesn’t affect this year, however, because he’s still on his rookie deal).

So the Celtics starting five have

3 current or former All-Stars
2 current or former All-NBA players
3 current or former All-Defense players
1 DPOY
1 future Larry Bird Trophy winner
1 future Finals MVP

😁😁😁😁😁

I want no more talk of this team being compared to the 04 Pistons. This is more the mid-2000s Spurs - stacked!!

ESPN:

The Celtics had six players end up with a vote as Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum and Al Horford all picked up a first-team vote. Celtics reserve guard Derrick White, acquired at the trade deadline from the San Antonio Spurs, received three second-team votes.

Congrats to Smart and Timelord! Well deserved. Time to add a 1st Team All-NBA for Tatum and a ECF/Finals MVP next!

Smart had 99 1st team votes abd 0 2nd team votes. First, that’s super impressive. Second, does that mean someone didn’t vote for Smart for either team?! Name yourself!
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Yeah, that’s a bit disingenuous…

R.Wallace: 4x All-Star
Prince: 4x All-Defensive Second Team
Hamilton: 3x All-Star
Billups: 5x All-Star, 1x All NBA Second Team, 2x All NBA Third Team, 2x NBA All-Defensive Second Team.
B.Wallace: 4x All-Star, 3x All NBA 2nd Team, 2x All NBA 3rd Team, 4x DPOY, 5x All Defensive first team, 1x All-Defensive Second Team.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

It was, in my view, quite obviously tongue-in-cheek. But I also do not think those players compare to this core really, particularly in terms of top-end talent / offensive talent in general.
