Welp, looks like this shifts the Heat's momentum...thanks to some bull technicality/protocol.

Can Al still come back for Game 2 or is he out the entire series?

After doing some reading, looks like 6 days if he’s asymptomatic. Windhorst says that some of the support staff have it though. Not holding my breath now.

So at least three games?

Not good.

So 3 games at best? Yikes that’s bad.  And who knows if teammates will test positive over the next few days.

Not the way I wanted Al to get rest.

I'm still confused how "health and safety protocols" and testing is still a thing when you literally have like 15,000+ (mostly) maskless people in the stands watching games...

Not just in the NBA but other sports too. It's even affected some hockey teams during the postseason

Because they have to punish the unjabbed....

Kyrie is right about some things...

Umm, he probably failed a Covid test.

You exposed yourself in two lines. Good job!

Go Celtics!

COVID is rampant in the Northeast right now, it just went through my entire household and we are all vaccinated and boostered.
I'm concerned other players have been exposed and will test positive, which usually occurs 2-3 after the first reported incident.

Testing done in Miami? Miami personnel? Won't shock me if they're trying to pull something sketchy on the Celtics being visitors.

I remember (I believe last season, not this one) LeBron having to enter protocols and just a day or two later he was miraculously cleared to play.

On the bright side, Al has a few days of rest and we get to embarrass the Heat winning without him.

If Dallas can win without Luka, the Celtics can win without Al. Hopefully, Al’s allowed to return by Game 3-4.

The pcr test was never meant for testing for this, just ask the inventor of the pcr Kerry Mullis who said as much and call fauci a fraud.

You just exposed yourself  ;)

I'll share the good news with you. The league knows Celtics are the favorite this series and we would have stole one game and maybe two on the road.

They want another 7 game series and will do anything to get it. Horford will be back game 3 and we take this series in 7 because we are better.

Yeah but it's LeBron they don't want their poster child to miss any games that affects revenues and ratings.

This one is Horford, nobody knows who Horford is. Not a big enough name sadly.

Being down 0-3 is not the bizzz. Hope Timelord and Theis can handle Adebayo.

Who is in our 8 man rotation tonight. I don’t believe we can play Robert Williams 40 minutes.

It's kind of ironic that this happened in Florida of all places, where literally no one cares (or has cared) about COVID

Hopefully Horford doesn’t miss the whole series. Until then next man up. Still primed to win this series regardless.
