Yep

Why does it matter?
Because they can't fathom selfless behaviour.

I'm so glad we're done with Giannis btw. My god, he may be talented but the things he gets away with and how he's reffed, UGH

Agree
Amen !

Game 6 by 13 and Game 7 by 28 v. the champions after the epic collapse in game 5.  Terrific resilience.

And... Payton 0 for forever (it seemed) till today.
Grant 2 points combined in Games 5 and 6 and made them pay today.

Great win.

We still struggle closing out close games.

Glad this wasn't one of those.

I actually feel we've done a better job at that this postseason. Obviously Game 5 of this series sticks out, but they did well in close games against the Nets, and even in this series they did well Games 4 and 6 in particular when it was close and on the road.

Game 3 was also good except the refs cost them literally

Agreed that we've gotten better, but it's still not something I'm comfortable with watching. Had a long way to come.

But agree with Liam as well - Heat are a different animal.

Oh yeah I don't disagree. I'd love for every game to be like today with a 20+ point blowout lol

amen

agreed

now moving forward will we get more favorable calls?

will we face another golden child like gianis?

maybe curry?

we should be in the clear with miami right????

Doncic is the only golden boy left in the tourney IMO. Though god knows with Pat Riley what could happen. He has been a good soldier for this administration.

But IMO the C's are way more compelling and exciting that the Heat. We should be OK to get at least a fair series,
The officiating in this series was not fair. What the Celtics' just accomplished is impressive.

Truly heroic. We shouldn't forget what happened today with the refs just because we won. They had an agenda, and that agenda was for Giannis to advance.

I've been watching this league for 25+ years and this might be the most shamefully-officiated game I've seen. The 4th foul on Tatum was headspinning. Taking our star out of the game - and 3 points off the board - on what was a clear defensive foul.

This league is still ultra corrupt

yup. well said. basically a miracle what we overcame

they wanted giannis to advance

we overcame insurmountable odds and stuffed it down their throat

silver is not happy

Truly inspiring. Best win since 2008 game 6 against LA.

And once the refs stopped bailing out the Bucks they completely folded. Giannis was no longer unstoppable. It shows a lot about how this league works when the favored actors don't get the script written for them

What's ridiculous is you three. After two years of a killer pandemic, although it's not mandatory to wear masks, if someone wants to, who cares? Let them.

to each his own. LOL  those masks are not efficient tho as we have learned.

LET'S GO CELTICS!

Yeah, I'm sure you've got lots of peer-reviewed scientific evidence to back that up ::)

I had to watch the game by myself in the office as my wife watched on the big screen in living room. After game 5 she doesn't want to watch games with me anymore. LoL I love this team.

What's also ridiculous is bringing social commentary about masks into a celebratory game thread. Just terrible. Let the guy wear whatever he wants.
