Have read every post in this thread.

You would think the Celtics were down by 20 if you weren't watching the game and just reading this thread.
One of the worst game threads I can remember

I think the spoiled brat behavior started years ago. It was evident for the first half of the season, then during the first couple games in the BKN series, now has intensified after Saturday's game. It's not just on this forum. I have seen grown men in pizza shops complain like my three year old. Embarrassing behavior.

This comment probably warrants its own separate discussion rather than just being forgotten in a game thread TBH.  There's a lot to unpack.

The gist of my opinion is that I agree with you that there's a ton of whining, but there's more to it than grown men acting like babies.  The flopping and foul-baiting players do makes the game exceedingly tough to call, and the refs have not been up to the task of calling it.  The result is that everybody - players, coaches, and fans of every single team in the league - thinks they're getting screwed because there are so many missed calls in any given game.  And they're correct that they're getting hosed by a lot of bad calls, but I think the truth is that nobody gets a good accurate whistle nowadays and it's largely because of the way the game is being played.  Until the league actually enforces foul-baiting and flopping penalties instead of just talking about it, the problem won't go away and people will keep crying.

Just tuning in.  How was the first half?

Bad Q1. Better Q2. Getting killed on the boards, but MIL is shooting poorly. Refs suck.

Twice in a row Tatum just blew by Matthews.  He can't keep settling and letting Matthews get into him.

It's compounded by the fact that guys like Grant miss the open threes when Giannis or Lopez help

Bricking 3s, turnovers, missing FTs. Yeah that's how we win games!  :-\
