- Jaylen Brown sucked
- Most of the team couldn't hit the water shooting out of a boat
- Ime got out coached
- Tatum wasn't good
- Our bigs aren't big enough
- Smart, Brown and Timelord played most of the game at less than 100% health
- The team chemistry was off due to a long holdover between series
- the team got smacked in the face and fell down

What matters is how you get back up and into the fight after getting smacked in the face and falling down!

This team will be judged on their ability to accept the losses, accept how they lost, learn from those losses, adjust, bounce back and win after those losses. They have plenty of experience doing this together(Tatum, Brown, Smart, Horford, Theis) and if they can bounce back strong, there shouldn't be any worry about losing this or any other series.

Let's see how this series progresses and whether the Celtics can get back up and, right away, punch Milwaukee down to the floor.

Completely agree. This is the fun part -- to see how a team responds after a setback. You get to see their true character. Their true mettle. What they are made of.

Games like this ... this is what sports is all about.

I guess you are both right.  But what it does in a way is put so much of what we (very) gradually came to believe about this team on the line tonight.  Makes me nervous -- were we fooled again or does this team have what most of ended up thinking they have.  Lucy pulls the football or Charlie kicks it.

Hate to feel that Game 2 is what the season boils down to, but it feels that way.

Go Celtics!

I have the same feeling. If they respond its a big step forward. If they don't there are some built in excuses.
This is the type of game you want to be in the building. I sometimes mute when watching these. Try to trust my own lying eyes instead of the announcers.
