If White can’t hit a 3, he should have at least developed a mid range jumper. He cant’t just not being  able to shoot anything.

Every time I’m ready to get on the Tatum superstar wagon he has games similar to tonight. Not bad but just doesn’t do enough to make you have to worry about him. I’m sorry but he’s gotta score more in Milwaukee if the C’s are going to win this series.

Happy for the win but that 2nd half overall wasn't that encouraging. We're going to need a better, more complete effort on the road otherwise we could be in trouble. It'd be nice but I highly doubt the C's will shoot as lights out as they did in today's 1st half lol

The second half was 46-44 in favor of the bucks. Not as bad as it seemed. The defense held up when it needed to.

VanGundy is spot on about what the C’s need to do to win the series. Relying too much on the 3 ball.

yup

Good win.  1-1.

I can't help but feel like we didn't learn anything on offense though.  Just shot better.  Hoping for some improvement on that end.  I was frustrated at how many layup attempts Al passed up, in particular.  I counted four shots at the rim that he didn't take.  Can't be scared.

Our defense was terrific though.  Giannis saved his box score with that third quarter but it wore his ass out to do that work.  Jaylen clamped Jrue.  And the rest of their guys just didn't take enough shots to make a difference.  Great performance at that end.

Oh wow, just realizing that even as bad as we played offensively in the second half (and defensively in the fourth quarter), we still only lost the half by 2. Crazy stuff.

Excellent adjustments by Ime for the second game. Could make the argument that we should've done that single, drop coverage on Giannis from the get-go, but as well as it worked for Brooklyn I guess you had to try it once.

Smart should be ready.
Let’s hope so, anything other than White.

White plus 22...
I would have been +22 if I was on the court to start the game too.  White makes a compelling case of that stat not having a lot of value.  A guy that scores 0 in 28 minutes was in no way an asset on the floor.

After a convincing 23 point win in the playoffs, I don't understand the amount of complaints about Derrick White.

Complaints about the refs, Giannis's superstar calls, the amount of replays that killed momentum, the league allowing games being reffed like this. After this win, I could see complaints regarding these things. But to focus so much on White's play, I don't get that.

Well the C's are in trouble. Lost one of 2 at home and gave up HCA to the defending champs.  JB looked bothered by the hamstring. Marcus out but hopefully back. Rob not quite himself yet.  Whouda thunk this -- thank goodness for Grant Williams.

But I agree, C's are not a team that can beat the Bucks relying on the 3.  Bucks know it so that's the where the series is heading.  Can Bucks keep giving the C's looks from 3 and nothing in the paint --  and can the C's make their shots?  I vote Bucks if that's how it plays out.

Cant say enough about GWill. Dude was a stud on both ends tonight. Gonna need that going forward.  Also glad to see Ime scrapped the double Giannis and leave everyone else wide open game plan. Was pretty obvious that wouldnt work and i couldnt believe they stuck with it through the whole game 1
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden

I have to say I don't usually complain about Derrick, but he missed a couple of wide open looks that really would have been nice tonight.  Obviously in retrospect they didn't need them, but when they happened the Bucks were still sniffing comeback.

I'd love to see DW put together a big contribution in a game in Milwaukee. I think he can and hope he does.

We're winning without Smart tonight. Book it.

On behalf of the Tarstradamus Group, congratulations to Celtics nation! We are pleased to join you in celebrating another victory.

Since becoming a publicly traded company, we are batting 100% in playoff predictions.

what's difficult to understand?  0 points in 28 minutes and crappy defense.  pretty much screams out for complaints.  felt we overpaid in that trade and his playoff performance this year has me convinced we grossly overpaid.  used to say he wasn't a scrub, just not worth what we paid.  now, he's looking scrubby
