The C's defense is having a great series. Game 1 was lost due to poor offense, but they've held MIL to 101 points and 86 points, and tonight was without Smart playing.

I love how after Game 1, the headline was "Giannis walks over the Celtics" yet he puts up similar stats today (nearly a Triple Double) and his team loses by 20+ haha

The difference is 33% vs 46% - our 3 point shooting. Vs theirs of 16%  :o

I hate this offense !! Udoka needs to straighten them out, but they keep giving the ball to Tatum at the top of the key and allow him to start all that iso dribbling which usually does not end well.

I think a lot of this will be fixed with Smart returning. We're already short on ballhandlers, and losing him is big with the way they pressure the perimeter.

That, too. White isn't anywhere near the individual or team defender that Smart is, and Smart quarterbacks our entire defense. Don't think you see that lackluster D all fourth quarter with Smart playing tonight. Think fatigue had a lot to do with it being a 7 man rotation, and  adding another fresh body will certainly help.
Yes DPOY Smart coming back for the games in Milwaukee will be huge for our defence

Will the officials allow Boston to win this series?

As bad as Boston played in the 3rd and early 4th, they held the Bucks to 86 **** points.

Smart should be ready.
Let’s hope so, anything other than White.

White plus 22...

Good shorthanded win to keep the season alive. These 3 days off ended up being huge for the Celtics.

Our team is so young..most not near prime yet. We are going to be in for quite a ride. Cant wait to see this team in 3-4 years too…

TPs all round for the win. Let's keep up this momentum. That's the Jaylen Brown we need for the rest of the series

Jaylen carried us the first half. Grant was solid throughout. Late spark by JT. Love the play that JT wraps around and goes out to the 3pt area wide open.

Milwaukee's ball pressure was still very tough. I don't know how Holiday can do that for the entire game.

The three days off is now very fortunate for our guys. Smart and Brown both need it, and Horford always needs it.
