Guys played off on that stretch.  Once they get a lead they have a hard time staying focused on the fundamentals that will hold the lead and they don’t have that killer instinct.  Need to step it up when you’re ahead.

boston missing too many makable shots. only 8-24 so far.

as i wrote above, milwaukee is playing very good defense. celtics need to hit the outside shot to break that defense down.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Hopefully the C’s settle down going into Q2. That was not good…

Bench really let us down.

It's on the Jays not White.  They need to step up their game.  White needs to wake up.

Milwaukee is one of the few teams in the NBA that can comfortably play bigger than us, and it looks like we're struggling with that.  We usually have the size and strength advantage most nights.

Agree. And they have to figure out what to do with Brook Lopez. You can’t go right at him. When Rob’s in he can often punish Lopez for helping, but otherwise they have to take Lopez away from the rim or punish him for sinking down.

Yeah their size, strength, and def pressure is bothering us.  Tatum is pressing a bit.  They have us uncomfortable when we are on offense.

Well we are seeing a lot better def from the opposing team in this series.  Celtics need to adjust to how high up top their def is pressuring our offense.

We're still generating advantages and good shots, but the easy stuff inside is a bit deceptive. Need just that one extra pass, or that one extra head fake.

Patience will be our best asset

Giannis and Lopez will have to sit at some point.

Lopez yes.  Giannis will probably play 42+ per game this series though.  He's not going to sit very often.

Solid defense despite the score. Milwaukee’s hitting mostly contested shots that won’t fall all game.

Their defense has been excellent on ball though we missed a few open looks on offense.

Great start to the second quarter by the Celts.

I like how they're reffing this game thus far. Letting them play both ways.
