I suspect that unless the Nets win two games, Nash might get fired, particularly if we sweep them. I suspect everyone else is safe, but want your take.

Nash is getting blistered in the media for not finding a way to get Durant easier looks. Next year, trying to work Simmons into this mess will be a heck of a challenge. Whoever is in that seat next year will have his work cut out.

Steve Nash iwas awful…weak unwilling to make his stars play the right way ….I saw no professional basketball …..just Lebron street hooping…..nothing but a nothing puppet coach for Irving ….who under tutorship of Le turd learned …..we don’t need a coach . Kyrie  Selfish stupid person.  But the other 14 guys DO need a coach , because that is how real basketball is played .  KD bought in to all this load of dogma ….he should have know better playing for Warriors , it’s about team .

Nash just along for the ride ,  worthless role may have have ended any hope real hope for learning to be a legitimate coach from the sideline.

Nets had an excellent coach in Kenny Adkinson who demanded accountability from every player .  But as usual Kyrie rejected authority and wanted no part of being told what to do.

Sooner Lebron is gone from NBA the better real basketball is better off,  all part of his path of destruction.

agreed.

Also, the Nets should be improved next season with the addition of Harris and Simmons.  We won't see the small lineup they are using today as much.

I don't think they should, but Quin Snyder could really be on the hot seat if the Jazz don't win this series.

He's been a great coach, but they've also had some relatively poor playoff showings and haven't made the WCF in the last 5-6 years. Lots of 1st and 2nd round exits. Even last season, they lost to the Clippers even without Kawhi for the final few games. Now if they lose this series despite Doncic missing the first 3 games of it, I think they'll consider a change.

There are other issues on the Jazz, but we have seen coaches get moved or transitioned (Dwayne Casey, Brad Stevens) despite having relative success especially in regular seasons.

I think it's a foregone conclusion though Nash is gone. I mean, I guess if BKN wins say the next 2 games and shows some fight, maybe they reconsider. But unless they pull off the 3-0 comeback I don't see Nash returning. I think deep down even Nash knows this too.

I think Snyder is safe given that there’s no way the Jazz could get a better coach than him. Utah fans are just happy to make the playoffs each year. Snyder would probably have a ring or two if he coached one of the elite franchises. Dude is very underrated.

Nash might be fired if they get swept. I hope he writes a tell all book  :police:

The Jazz have missed the playoffs just 8 times since 1984.  They have an all time win percentage right around 55% (which obviously includes their first 9 years when they never .500 and had 2 seasons under .300).  They are absolutely an elite franchise.

Only other one would be Nate McMillan from ATL.  They have disappointed this year.

If we sweep, I suspect that the KD/KI partnership will put pressure on management to find a new coach.  Just my hunch.

Nash or McMillian would be my guess..someone got to take the fall with the Nets, so coach is #1 choice

I wonder if Mark Jackson would get a call to replace Nash. Former commentator for the Nets. Known as a player's coach.
